I keep getting the proxy screen, yet i know you bastards are in there, playing, laughing and having panty raids and pillow fights.

So i downloaded a new version of the GR website. Now i get "Downloading Update" followed by the proxy screen. This is going on day three now. WTF?!?
I saw a guy named Rorschach was having the same problem day before me.

Someone please bring this issue to Evill's attention. I'm gettin' the shakes, man.

Bt's Lee Harvey is having the same problem...

Even RE-Downloaded Gameranger, deleted prefs, etc...
Only occuring on one of his two computers.

Any Ideas?

From what I know, he is going to, or has replaced the installer that is on the gameranger website.

But if he hasn't, we'll let him know.

I have the same problem on my iBook, but I don't have it on my G5... The only difference between the two is that my iBook is connected trough airport and my G5 trough cable.

My problem seems to have resolved, but i wonder if the others are still SOL. I had deleted just about everything gameranger, but i guess it was Evill-side gremlins.

Im not making the connection i guess.
All these problems occured at the update.
And I doubt these guys are attacking GR.

Anyone know if Evill is aware of this one?

He is aware of it. I dunno if he has corrected it.

He talked about changing the installer on the website. That's all i've heard.
