So This Guy In France Won My PowerBook...
«

Okay, so I sold my 17" PowerBook on ebay and the winner was a guy in France. So, my question is this: knowing my "love" for the French, would it be wrong of me to install a virus on the PowerBook before I ship it to him? lol
P.S. The dumbass bid more than I paid for the thing brand new!

Or you could just make his homepage for safari point to Show how much a brand new powerbook cost you and how stupid he has just been for spending more money for a second hand laptop?
... Ps socialism v Capitalism? society v money
Considering his recent purchase i think he could do with a lesson on the art of capitalism

Get a funky screen-saver with a big piggy oinking with two huge money bags in his trotters... so when he opens it up the pig squeals and there is a lil old message about how stupid he has just been.
Then again, a great mac laptop is invaluable

Just make the homepage lemonparty.org and a sticky note that says "you got fucked harder than this old guy on this deal" then all the way at the bottom "frenchie"
That is what I would do

GS will prolly wind up being on the "Homeland Security Watch List" after shipping a "High Tech" Package through Customs.

Now look it from the French-guy's side, he's prolly telling his friends now:
'Some American's must be very desperate to accept money from a french guy!'
Btw, he might have paid more then you paid for the powerbook, but it can still be less then he has to pay in France for it. Since everything is alot more expensive over there.
2.499$ over in the US = 2.074€ in France
New PB: 2.599€ in France = 3.131$ in the US
He still might have made a big profit buying it from you...

Just out of curiosity, why are things more expensive in France? And a bit off the subject, but why is the unemployment rate so damn high there?

UK =
£1,749.00 17" Pwb here = 3,063.88 USD
For the UK, its probably import taxes, more tax, air tax, water tax, box tax, celotape tax, shop tax, shoe tax, then theres more tax.. you get the idea.
