I don't like the gameplay of AA - it's almost "too" realistic.
GhR is the perfect blend, update that w/ new maps (not urban plz plz I <3 Shrubberies) and new weapons, better graphics but not high requirements and you have a perfect new sexy game.
RvS is fun, if only more ppl played it - BF1942 and CoD almost look too arcadish but I'll have to test out the demo or something.

oh and, going from a 300 mhz G3 for five years to a dual 2x1.8 G5 was sooo nice, although I feel pain when I'm encoding movies. But what can ya do ?

That's what I said first, the other things just add to the fun and motivation. And I forgot, AA has a very big and beautiful selection of maps, something for every taste.
