I have both of them...played both games maybe 2 times and then got bored with them.  Now it's all about America's Army for me!

why does it matter if it's old it's still a good game..i still play the original mario and it pwns 90% of the new games that come out. 1942 is awesome online and there's still a ton of people playing it so i really don't care if it's old.

Never ever compare Super Mario with a 3D FPS... what a disgrace. BF1942 is old, there's BF2 already and most PC gamers moved on... so did the CoD people, to CoD2. Mac versions yet? No. You're just saying it because your old PC can't handle them, as all other people who are stuck with outdated hardware.

Yeah, I feel my G5 Tower getting old, too.  Even with the ATi Radeon X800XT Card and 2.5GB RAM, it just feels....slow.

Actually, I really wasn't being sarcastic.  I have one of the first generation G5 Towers, the Single 1.8GHz G5 system that I bought in November 2003 (about 15 days before Apple released the same setup with Dual Processors for $100 more...BTs_FahQ and I are still sore about that).  And although it does have a faster bus than the later 1.8GHz systems (it's got the 900MHz Bus), it still seems a bit slow sometimes when I'm rendering large Photoshop files.  I upped the RAM by quite a bit, and added the new Graphics Card, and even upgraded the Optical Drive to the new 16x Apple SuperDrive with DL Support just like the new G5's have, but it just doesn't feel fast enough for me.  I'm holding out for the Intel Macs though, so I guess I have to live with this one a bit longer.

I had a Single 1.8Ghz G5, too (the newer one with 600Mhz bus, though)... and compared to this Dual 2.3Ghz one it was TERRIBLE. The second processor makes a HUGE difference and it's the bottleneck in yours which makes it feel slow.
