Ok this is pretty straightforward. I've been putting of my tax return for long enough now, and its starting to dawn on me just why... i looked at the state of my accounts and almost had a heart failure.

Now i could go by a nice big accounts book with lots of colums etc, and cock it all up. but if i can i'd like to shift everything into a decent accounting app... My first thought was MYOB  but i don't know much about it or the alternatives and i was wondering if some of you great self employed boys (and girls) could give me some advice!!

Cheers

Write to your MP and tell him you wan't a flat income tax. That way it will take about 5 minutes to fill in the form...

well my expenses are pretty high as i have been ploughing my earnings back into the work, so for this last year im not expecting to have to pay much if any tax - however as the need to put so much money into the business goes down, im going to need to pay and more inportantly i really need to keep these accounts in order!
