Current version: Beta 0.3Hey guysAfter weeks in Alpha, constant testing and many hours of frustration over seemingly unsolvable bugs, I'm proud to present to you the Public Beta of
Vermin's M4 Modification. The modification contains a collection of Colt M4s (SOPMODs) in various variants and calibers, just as seen in those very cool movies I trust you've all had a glance at sometime. Fittable modules include ACOG sights, Grenade Launchers, AN PEQ-2 Laser Target Acquisition Systems, Flashlights, Bipods and Iron Sights. Shortly put, pretty much everything you'd ever fancy putting on an M4 is featured.
I've done my utmost to deliver the most realistic experience with the modification, and at this point I believe most of the weapons are be fairly well balanced in accordance to how their physical counterparts would handle. The weapons are not the only thing realistic about this modification, however. Several core aspects of Ghost Recon have been changed in order to perfect the level of realism delivered with the modification.
- Equipment changes are instant.
- Weapons are considerably less harmful than the original Ghost Recon weapons.
- Pistols are balanced; they take less time to stabilize and are not as accurate.
- A player only carries 4 magazines of ammunition for his primary weapon.
- Rifles hold 31 bullets, 30 in the magazine and one in the chamber.
FeedbackBug reports, observations, opinions and the like are greatly appreciated and very welcome indeed

CreditsI would like to give a great thanks to Primary for bearing with me from Alpha 0.1 and suggesting countless great ideas for further development. Thanks mate, I couldn't have done it without you.
DownloadYou can download Beta 0.3
here (4.1MB). I will be posting in this thread as new versions become available, along with a changelist and ideas for the next version.
Imporant NoteWhen hosting multiplayer games, you need to set the restriction to "M4s Only" to be able to use all of the weapons, and to keep the original weapons from interfering with the modification.
Less Important Note, though still fairly importantPlease take your time to read through the Readme file included with the modification.
