I was wondering what your ISP is, how much bandwith you have
and what you pay for it ?
I'm on Telenet Cable, I get 6.6 MB down and 512kb
and I have to pay a wopping 51 € for that.

6.6 MB down... and surely you mean 512kb up? 512 Mb up would be... well insane!

I'm currently with Blueyonder (UK ISP) paying £25 (get the phone connection from them so its 25 rather than £30 for the net) for which i currently get a theoretical 1MB D and 128 Up connection. (oh yeah - its unlimited transfer as well which is um... well vital!)

That said got a letter through the post day before yesterday, services is getting upgraded to 4MB down and 312kb Up (or 300 and something!) which is nice... problem is being Cable it slows down the more people sign up to the service in the area.

I use a company called Cable One that is only located in the Southeastern United States.  I get 3 MB Down and 512k Up for about $30 U.S. a month (pretty cheap).  They are about to upgrade the service to 6 MB Down for no extra charge.

I have the same ISP as KGB  Grin

But I got 10Mbps down and 512Kbps up.
4 dynamic IP's.
Datalimit upto 30 GB/month down, 4,5 GB/month upstream.
59,95€ /month

We got Chello here in Belgium aswell, you can get 20 Mbps down, 2 Mbps up for 99,95€.
80GB/month datatransfer limit...
But only a few cities can get Chello and mine isn't one of 'em. Angry
I would take it the second its available here.

Comcast, Cable - 8MB down, 768kb up - no datalimits at all. Grin

I pay $55/month, and they recently upgraded it for free from 6MB to 8MB. There are rumours that they're going to upgrade it again soon and then the upload speed also.

Getting 20Mbps down and 1 Mbps up, by the end of 2005, just €24,99 per month. Cheap! Smiley

It's currently 4Mbps down and 512Kbps up, same price...

(There is a so called "speed-war" in our country, 2 major providers 'fighting' for the best price/speed, that's why it's so cheap)

Here in Oklahoma, COX Cable is the monopoly IP.  $39.00/month for cabletv and high speed. They claim it is 5 Mbps downstream and 387k up but actuall testing shows 5 Mbps translates to about 3.5, sometimes 4.

www.Skytron.de
It is a regional provider here in the south west of Germany. I have 2MB UP/DOWN - no external IP - Trafic limitation to 5 GB per month - wich is enough for me. 49 EUR / Month

I will change to a more cheap 2mbit up / 256 down with no limitation and an own IP in a few weeks. 30 EUR / month.

My problem is that I can't have DSL here - So I use this radio wave technologie by Skytron.
