Does any1 know when the motorola Roker is coming out in europe? and does any1 here already have this mobile phone if yes, is it cool or bs, usfull or just an ipod with a few more features? cuz im siriously thinkin about buying it

Don't bother mate, its really not worth it. if you want somthing to listen to your tunes on get an ipod / shuffle nano or whatever, but unless you really want to be able to say to people "hey look at my phone i've got itunes on it" its not worth it.

Does it make a difference if a phone has "iTunes"? It's the interface on a computer that makes iTunes what it is, easy to use and intuitional. A phone on the other hand is inherently handicapped by it's size, and I don't see how it matters what software plays the few mp3's the phone can store. Not that I've tried the Roker, but I have a hard time imagining how the software iTunes per se could make the interaction any easier or better.

Of course iPod is another story since the buttons are designed for one pupose alone.

yeah - sorry ok lemme refraise what i said:

yeah the phone is available in the uk at the moment, so presumably you can get hold of it online from the motorola UK website etc and get it shipped elsewhere in europe.

regarding the phone itself, as a phone everyone seems to agree that there are better phones out there. as a music player, it can't stand up to the ipod... so unless having the 2 in 1 is the most important thing,  then in my opinion and from what i have read its probably not worth your hard cash

Personaly... I hate iPods.... never saw much use for them (and I'm a DJ with tons of music in MP3 format) Now if apple would make a combo iPod/palm device.. them i would see me spending $300 on something that right now only plays music. I will say.. I do have an iPod.. i got it as a gift.... and i only use it once a month or less... mostly b/c my music library iis so large it wont fit on the iPod... and its too much of a hassel to narrow my 100 gigs of music down to fit on it!!!
