Any chance of having a league MVP and league Noob award for Ghost Recon at the end of every season?  Let anyone in a clan make one vote for who they think is the league's most valuable and worst players.  I'm sure there is a system that could be made up to make this work, like limiting 10 votes per clan or not allowing clans to vote for their own members so they can't give all their votes to one person in their clan.  Also keep the votes hidden so only admins know who gets votes.
Just thoughts I had for spicing up the DBL league, this topic may have been discussed in the past but I wasn't sure.

Namely because we already know who it's gonna be.

This is something rebel introduced with the "Mac Gaming Shout Casting all Singing and all Dancing Hoola Hoop" events (ok i made the last bit up) he tried to set up... unfortunately cost of the server and time etc i think rather killed it off.

...it worked for that so far as that he was not involved with any clans, could watch the matches unfold plus each players actions (he even kept stats on the massive cb we played in a shout casted 7v7 or was it 8v8 against *NRG)

However, if you get clans to do it, we all know what would happen... and people arn't going to have a huge idea re voting (if they judging just on CB's) unless they have played a lot of clans (lots of times!)

.. re secret balloting etc, it rather more work etc for mauti when he's already hard at work on more major stuff.

Not shooting the idea down, its nice, but  i'm not sure how it could be implemented, and if it was, i'm not so sure weather people would take any notice of it.

Someone should set up a server report like harveys for GhR. Something that tracks kills, TKs, weapons use, ect.  That someone wont be me, cause I dont know the slightest thing about scripting and all that, but it would be cool.

This is definatly possible. GhR creates a .html file showing the stats etc, and no this is not just for SP, it is also for all MP games on Game-ranger etc.

All that needs to be done (i say all without a clue as to where to start looking), is to find the 'hooks' that create this file and send the data not only to the individual pages as normal, but to a consolidated server which deals with them much like that of the BTs server...
It really shouldn't be to hard, the hard bit is there (in terms of collecting the info) all that needs to be done is to highjack the route of where that information is sent - and unfortunately i don't posses the knowledge to find it, let alone re-direct it.

If the BTs stats are anything to go by, doing this for GhR could mean and immense injection of life for the game... and id be more than willing to help anyone with some decent coding knowledge who thinks they could find those data hooks.

We kept our stats for last season.  We had to manually input but had a pretty sweet setup going on.

Here it is reset (with alot of members gone, including myself)

yeah that was slick Wick (hehe that ryhmes Cheesy) but i'm damn sure an automated version of this can be done, the .html page being exported is just that and more, all we need to do is hijack the output!

how about this.  is there a way we could enter stats in the cb submission form?  we can require each teams cb leader (or senior member) in a cb to screen shot after each map. when the losing team confirms, they could verify that the correct nubers have been entered.  any indescretions can be solved with the screen shots.  that means that each team will have to take screen shots of all participating teams after each match. this doesn't seem like too much to do. screen shots are relatively hassle free.
i think this would be a pretty cool idea. we could have statlist for each game in the damn battle league, plus an overall stat page for players that play multiple games.  just an idea. want to see what the rest of you guys think. I realize may be a bit late to do something like this for season XI...maybe XII?

I think it's a great idea for next season.  I'm sure whoever runs the website could develop a system that will keep track of all that stuff when its submitted.
