Except the fact that proves PC users live in the past with their floppy drives. Ever see a PC with internal speakers when you plan to listen to music? I don't recall anyone using a dell branded mouse with their PC. Sounds like someone who's mixing up a consumer computer with the prosumer line.

that one's not so bad, at least he was telling the truth...i mean, the g3 imacs sucked a lot of dick, can't deny that.

I loved my G3 iMac.  My last one before I bought my G5 was a 600MHz G3 iMac, in Graphite.  Ran Ghost Recon great.

i still have like a 200mhz one, or maybe 300, either way i despise it. macs are supposed to be about good reliable hardware, this thing had to be completely replaced twice, and it still has problems.

Hey, it doesn't matter what you buy, sometimes you can get a lemon.  Just look at cars...even a high-dollar Mercedes can be a lemon (I've seen that on quite a few occasions...they traded them in on Fords...lol).

I personally have never had a problem with a Mac (and my Mac using days go all the way back to a 128k Mac purchased new in 1984).  In fact, the only time I can ever remember calling Apple Tech Support for anything was on a Duo Dock that I bought for my PowerBook Duo 2300c.  I bought it new in the box, but it had been out of production for a few years (I found a company that actually had some new ones in storage).  When I took it fresh from it's packaging, the power supply was dead from sitting dorment for so many years in storage.  Because it was brand new with a warranty starting the day I bought it, an Apple tech came to my house and replaced the power supply for free (this was back when Apple's warranty included home repair, man that's been a while!).  So, I would say I am one happy camper when it comes to Apple.

i'm not saying that macs don't pwn pcs, but what i said before was the first imac broke, we sent it in got a new hard drive, broke again, sent it in they sent it to apple who apparently replaced it with an entirely different computer (unless they just made it a different color). couple weeks later, same thing, they replaced it with a whole new computer, and it's constantly having to be reinstalled. i don't know what it is, i'm sure it's not me though. whatever, new macs are the fucking petrified shit on a stick that bashes pcs into pieces.

ps that's a compliment i guess.

I figured it out from this part of your statement:

"I'm sure it's not me though."

I believe it's user error, plain and simple.

only mac software was used, it was basically only used for email and browsing the internet. if it was user, i have no idea why it couldn't handle such simple tasks.

That's actually a pretty good idea... my batteries always run out while I'm in the boundary waters camping... but I don't have the time to attempt making this...

Battery-packs are available for all iPod models... I just never have gone 12 hours without charging my iPod.

I actually agree GS, is surelly user prob., is not about simple tasks, is how user makes simple tasks harder to hardware, you can make a computer last a day or 9 years (like one of my macs), it depends in how YOU use it, not in what it is doing, btw for your comment mac pwns pcs in that too, they last longer while pcs (most) come damaged from fabric and retailers don't care about it and even warrants make no good, i haven't called mac support in 10 years using a mac, i haven't seen a pc that overcomes to that.

i.e.: i used to work in a retail store, several times we had to report lots of pcs for being damaged when we powered by the first time!!!!.

Nothing more to say: MAC RULES and PC... well when u have nothing good to say, say nothing.

well if it's a user error, that's worse for them because all i used was their software. whatever either way the computer is outdated and useless compared to what they make now anyway.

Thats not what i meant, you can use its software or hardware or w/e u want from the same company, but if you missuse it (use it in the wrong way), thats what makes an equipment to endure less than it should, i've done it with several Pc's (experiments) to avoid reclaims from some customers that missuse the sof/hard.

Obviously Apple (tm) has improved his own soft/hard. and thats a plus for it. Pc whicever is the dealer of hardware or OS, is based on the very same as the equipment of years ago, no real improvements on OS/Hard. (Mac: 10000000000000 / Pc: 0 points)

listen, i'm not trying to bash mac ok? everyone knows they're better then pcs, even me who uses a pc. i don't consider it a user error when the software is made by the same company and even comes with the computer, and is used only how it's supposed to be used...i mean how the hell can you use software wrong, it only does what it's meant to do, unless you're using some overclocking shit or something, all i used was appleworks, IE, outlook, quicktime, and gameranger. i blame the g3, and nothing but the g3 and i won't have another word about it kthxbye.
