NC*R-iSpy ( GR account # 85560 ) Was caught by iGuard with a TXT hack. He has been banned from the BTs server. He is a former member of MoD.

TXT hack is just anouther way to get a hack to work in the game. the diffent hacks are codded into files like TXT .U and .UTX. there are NO TXT (text) files in your RvS system folder that you have not put there yourself!

.TXT are text files
.U are system mod files
.UTX are texture files

No.. it was no read me.. iGuard tells me the name of the TXT file..if he had followed the iGuard install instructions.. it clearly says,, you much install to a freash copy f Rvs no added maps or anything. we are working on adding map support right now.. and the name of this text file was not a readme for a map.. it was 3 letters then .txt after it.

if it had been for a map file it would have also listed the map UTX files for that map sence i dont have any other maps allowed right now except the original files (sheix is working on adding the monoman maps to the allowed files list)

There are NO text documents in the system file of RavenShield
or any of the corresponding program folders.

Text hacks are the most common to the game, and are Grounds for GLOBAL bans under Punkbuster, so it is a standard process to screen for them. I have done a search under ALL (meaning EVERY SINGLE ONE) of the publicly released RVS mod maps, and their associated files..

This file is not one of them.

IGUARD WORKS ON ALL PUBLISHED HACKS.

I checked and yes.. the file name matches a hack made by Lepper Messiah ( DaF|Leper ) while leper was still in mod (its the reason the lepar was kicked from MoD.. this an him porting over the pwnedh4x )

Hope we can get iGuard to work for mod maps soon, such a waste no to be able to play on thse 100+ maps. clapping hands

And yes Jolly, i am working on adding ALL of the files we need it to allow from ALL of the known third party maps, so that the host can include that master IGUARD.ini file, and no matter what maps each player has, it will not kick for their specific or unmatched mapfiles...They will all be on the list already.

We will post a link so you can download the .ini file when done.
Just drag, drop, and replace the current IGARD.INI when it is uploaded.

As you know, its a HUGE task there are 150 maps which means i have to add all texture and other necessary names to the ALLOWABLE FILES list, and will take just a couple more days, but were almost there.  Did i mention this was  a HUGe task???

also, Monoman has told me he will inform me when new maps come out, so those files can be added as well..

I PROMISE that this is gonna be worth it, if you'll all stick with us for a few more days.
