To everybody who plays rs and still  checks the forums I will be hosting a game of RS tonite around 10:30 EST.  I just thought I would make an anouncment for any of the old players.....At least until xoclipse gets his site going which will tell people when games are being hosted.

Ya it can run under classic if u have a good enough comp...but with my g3 all i need to do is reboot into os9 and host it up

nope, without OpenGLide you can't play RS in Classic Mode. it freezes at the startup. without it you have to boot in OS9 to be able to play RS.

yeah civic as myst posted the link over at sourceforge they have sorted OpenGLide so you can run it under classic.

Now all i need is Rogue Spear...  Huh anyone got a copy to sell?

Boy, that sounds like fun. The reason i quit playing though is it's incomplatibility with OS X. i simply cant be bothered to roll over into OS9.

For all of you who may remember my old RSD mods site, though, you may be pleased to learn it never really came down. I have no idea what the linkages look like, but here's the archived page:

I can't remember the answer to this so maybe someone can help me.  I'm on a PC now, and if i get RS, can I play against you Mac noobs? I know that the patches have to match up or something, but i really want to play again, and bust out the old cum drenched fatigues. Also, I would have to IP join in Urban Ops only right?  Any help would be good, thanks lesbians!

Okay, now all I need to play is a copy of RS and a copy of OS9 (I deleted OS9 and permanently disabled Classic and destroyed the OS9 CD the day I bought my G5).

But seriously, my computer came with OS9, so can't I just borrow somebody's install CD legally?

I would rather look into Mac on Mac, which will not emulate the OS. So it should look pretty good.
Although it doesn't have compatiblity with Tiger yet. So I haven't been able to test it yet.

i used to play RSUO with you guys from my pc, all you have to do is have the RS update. i think you're not supposed to do the UO update though. i'm not sure, i forgot. either way, does someone have a pc RSUO copy to "sell" to me? Smiley

i got rogue spear, now i just need Urban ops...anyone??\\

Sry the game didnt last as long as I planned tonight guys.  I didn't expect Infect to be such a dick when he came home tonight we'll have to have another game tomorrow around the same time...And I might be hosting a little earlier in the afternoon as well if enough people are on.
