Has anyone played Coded Arms?? I read some shitty reviews, but I still wanna get it.
Not sure how an FPS will play out on the PSP.

If you can get used to the HORRID controls, then you will enjoy it. Think of Halo but shave 4 review scale points off of it.

Guess I'm gonna have to resist the temptation, being that i'm an uncoordinated tard, and the controls get confising for me anyway.

if they are anything like Dead To Right's control fuck it. I hate the so much emphasis is placed on a game's graphics when the developers miss the boat on the control. I don't care how good a game looks, if i need to grow another thumb to play it, its gonna suck.
Crypt... you have any games yet.... me and cotton will take you on over xlink. he schooled me in HSG the other day.
im waiting for a good action adventure or a good side scroller. I would also love a nice shooter... like 1942 was for the NES.

The next two games I
plan
on getting are MediEvil Ressurection and GTA LC. I do work at a game store however, so I always have room for impulsive buys.

Has anyone ever gotten their PSP firmware 2.0 to work with WEP enabled on their wireless router.

I don't have 2.00, but speaking of that, do you know if they will make you update to 2.00 in the next wave of PSP games coming in 2 weeks?

From what I hear, they will eventually make you update with certain games you buy. That's why I'm sticking with my Japanese PSP frimware.... I hear that it has already been cracked.

Yeah, just got MediEvil, I've loved this game ever since the original on PSX. Burnout is like crack, I don't really wanna get back into the whole Burnout scene.

Picked up Death Jr. and Coded Arms.
Coded Arms is clunky with the controls, just like Crypt said. And I finished the entire game in about 6hrs, this one is going up on ebay.
Death Jr. is fun, have not really gotten into it yet, but it is fun.
Cant wait to see what SOCOM: Navy Seals is like. I saw a preview on IGN and it looks pretty sweet, I just hope the controls are managable.

Yeah, I fear that if I purchase SOCOM on the PSP that I will want to buy another PS2 so that I can spend more just to play SOCOM 3 online.
I've also heard that Madden on the PSP is the greatest handheld football game ever. (which isn't a very tough task really) I'm interested in how the controls are for it.
I also might pick up Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006 on it. I'm getting it on the Xbox 360 when that releases, but 2005 on Xbox won't tide me over until then.
Another tid-bit of info I heard from the GameStop Conference (from my store manager) was that you can hook up your PSP wirelessly to your Xbox 360 and play GTA: Liberty City Stories from the TV using the PSP as the controller. I can't wait!

yeah, i think im gonna sell back a few games (FIFA/RidgeRacer/NBAStreet) and flip them for Madden now that it is time for the football season.
I just wish someone would make a good old fashioned sidescroller action/adventure game.... something like Zelda: A Link To the Past...

I just picked up Tiger Woods 2006 yesterday. It's really good, load times are infinitely better (about 6 seconds compared to 1 minute with 2005 on PSP) which is almost all I care about, plus they made it a bit more challenging which is golden in my book.

The quality is phenomenal. I watched the Spider-Man 2 UMD it came with, at times I forgot I was at home instead of at the theater. The only thing is I don't watch enough movies to want to pay 20 bucks a pop for every one. They also make "home theater experience" type things for it. It's great for airplane flights if you get a power brick or extra battery for it I've heard.

i've put few videos on mine and yes they look amazing. Not just amazing for a handheld, but just truly outstanding. The sharpness of the screen is just something i never thought was possible.

The UMD movies look incredible, they use 'soft cuts' so it's easy on the eyes. I bought kill bill, and the fight scenes look great, I figured the video quality would fall apart on such a small screen, but it holds together and looks amazing.
I ripped several DVD's to my memory stick, and at a medium quality setting it still looks and sounds good. I fit 7 full movies on a 1gig duo.
