**"as for me coming off as a condescending bighead, it was only in response to ghostsniper thinking i was just ranting on the internet without actually doing something.

I think deep inside i knew that, and the minute i hit post, i regretted it somewhat.
Sorry for taking your phrase out of context. I guess i was highlighting the irony of placing your actions next to the summation that we are a despicable country.

And perhaps apropriate for a separate post,  i have truly and fundamentally lost faith in my power as an individual to make any of the power-holders responsible for actions that i dont agree with...Ok yes, I can and do vote, but somehow, it seems the main corruption that seems to define us in the eyes of the world is party-indifferent, and that the underlying interests that cause those behaviors and decisions are truly beyond my control. I am quiet becuase those who are supposed to protect me (a supposedly objective, and truth driven media) have utterly and irrevocably failed in their duty. And i have also seen personally how the establishment has the ability to utterly and completely crush the lone opposing individual. I owe my family the normality of a day to day living that does not include additional scrutiny of flight-lists, IRS intrusions, and other such political tools being utilized to settle dissent from the status quo. I no longer under the impression that my vote can steer ANY of whats happening in our entrenched power establishment...im not sure how we CAN believe that anymore.

so to sum..you surely did not offend, thanks for doing your part to add a plus sign to humanity. I guess i too am feeling defensive, and probably take more issue with GS's intent when he made that post.
Yes, we're on the same page.

i wonder for a moment if anyone has ever considered that much of the world DOESN'T WANT a New World Order or a One World Government they just want to be left the hell alone... the rest of the world wants us to help them out cause they have some problem with another bully picking on them, so we do help, which in turn gets us in some deeper shit, costs us piles of money   Huh  why? now we basically live in an advanced Police State of cameras tracking your every move, your email being picked through like the neighbor's dog going through your trash... soon many many more of our civil liberties will be compromised     Huh  why? Corporations can now basically take your property whether you like it or not provided your city council agrees that it is good for the community (translated loosly means enough money passed through hands to get them to agree) . Don't get me wrong... I Love My Country... I vote, I do community volunteering, I recycle, I care.... but our country is going to hell in a hand basket. We no longer have a choice in matters that really count.  wallbashing
