Sorry Darkie... I thought you were saying you wanted to be on the FFA ladder and Nark didn't.

Also... At the time I posted I didn't mean to imply that there was any nonsense on your part with the two [?] post. However, this type of backtracking and clarifying was what I was referring to. Again, another reason for a Team Leader only rule.

Thanks for quoting my entire post. That's so cool!

Have a pleasant and productive day.

Judging from the resent resurgence of RvS games, thanks to Harvey's server, you can put the co||ective down for the RvS team ladder, and FFA I suppose.

We would love to host a BF1942 ladder, but I'm not sure there's enough interest. I'll add it to the list for now though.

Not sure how the hell our name got on this.

I wouldn't mind playing another season, but to be honest, I have neither the time nor the interest to deal with all the bullshit for a "preseason".

Oh, go to hell BFG.

The sensible thing would be for Mauti to quit being a senseless control freak and hand over the controles to someone who is actually part of this community. Having a webmaster with a brain would be a great step forward for this community.

Im in for FFA... Might be in for a private CQB team.. i have not been in touch with any of the BTs guys.. so i dunno what they want to do. But i need to know when this is starting and ending (to see if i will have the time to do it.....
ALSO.. If anyone needs a Host for large RvS or GhR CB's let me know (atleast a day or 2 in advance plz) and I'll host one up if i can. I know i can host prolly a full 15 man server for RvS with little or no lagg (even the euro's have not been compaining on the 15 man server) so that means a 7v7 with me being the 15th person as the host. For GhR.. i have not tested out my connection with it to see just how big of a game i can host... but if i can do 15 with no lagg on RvS.. prolly can get over 20 for GhR.

Rules for the Pre-season.

All normal game play rules apply. Each clan with receive three points for a win, zero for a loss. You must play each clan at least twice. In FFA the winner will receive 5 points, 2nd place 4 points and so on and so forth. You will still need a BL account for FFA to receive the code, and for team play and CQB the teams still need to be signed up on the BL. There will be no super finals, whoever comes out on top of the ladder at the end, wins. The season will run one month, the reasoning being that by the time it is over, Mauti hopefully will have reappeared and we can get a real season going.

These are the rules that the admin team (read: BFG) came up with. However, if you have any problems with them, post em, and hopefully we can make it satisfactory to all. I don't see any reason for the season to not start as soon as possible. Say, Monday or Tuesday.

to clarify what spike has said re the FFA system it (like the old system) rewards you more for winning larger FFA games. so if its a 6 player game the winner gets 6 points, all the way down to the player in lsat place gets 1. - if its only a 4 player game the winner gets 4, down to the loser getting 1. This way your still rewarded for playing a FFA match however badly or well you do - but the bigger the match the more points are up for grabs.

4 rounds as before loser of each round picks next map, host choses first map (same rules as before) Host tracks the points and everyones total points earnt that cb are added up and submitted in the thread that we will setup.

Do you mean with regard to the current ranking of your opponent clan? If so my suggestion is a simple 3 tier category system or equivalent where if your opponent is currently ranked in the top 5 you get say 20 extra points, if they are in the top 10 then 15 extra points, top 15 (we're not going to get that many clans, this is just an example) then 5 extra points.

This way the Mods can keep their heads around the maths, u guys can see clearly who is where on the ladder (as it stands until we get swipe cards to the workings of the BL system we have to do this all by hand) and we retain some element of incentive to battle higher ranked clans.
