(germany too...what is it with you people....i mean fucking seriously)---I could do what you're doing and draw some pretty dark conclusions about your part of the world over drastic shit like that, but as we all know the actions of a few well-publiced nutcases says nothing about a broader population. Just super mega tired of being asked to be open minded, accepting, rational, etc and then have to hear the over-reaching broadbushing that placed me in the sights with the other kooks, just because i reside in the south. On one hand, ive read some rather well thought out opinions from some people, only to turn around and hear those same people bashing MY president, my country, my fellow americans, and my state as if all four exist in one person that represents us all... they dont.

My country is extremely diverse, and although there are some popular things to bash americans over, (unpopular administration, neo-con rightwingers, and religious nuts) Im getting a bit tired of seeing critisicsm of that stuff splash over and obscure the good deeds of good americans and positive features of my culture.  Im proud of my country NOT becuase of what my president does, or what the kooks do, or what the assholes do, BUT because of what the quiet, thoughtful stand-up americans are doing in their everyday lives...and just becuase it doesnt make it onto cspan, fox or whatever, you people seem to think that the good stuff doesn't exist, and that we're a country of ignorant, half-baked wal-mart dwellers. Its not My fault that you're buying the pitch of the LOUD MINORITY..but trust me, they are the minority. im DAMN proud to be a forward thinking, compassionate southern AMERICAN. 
I'm also man enough to admit I stepped over the line...a little.

(now it doesnt help that my other southern dwellers are giving you people so much ammo to work with)
