Unfortunatly not T, but the guys are hard at work on preparations - there are a few jobs to be done before the season can be made ready however like the appointment of new Admin/s. We'll make sure everyone is kept upto date, and the guys are more than aware that everyone wants to get their teeth stuck into to the new season, so it really will be as soon as can possibly be managed!

I can imagine it's tough, but can we get a ballpark estimate? A week? Two weeks? End of the month?

I logged on to GR the other night and there was only one room open! Without a season, the GhR community is floundering.

What about the All Star game to hold us over?

DAMN doesn't have to hold up the community. I'm glad their taking their time, especially after they had to rush last season and exclude the sheep fat system. If you guys need a tournament of some kind, do what we did in the RS days, and make a cheap website and run one. I think DAMN's between season tournaments only happens once a year.

The way it is written it leads one to believe that he is blaming DAMN for the inactivity. As I said above, I'm 100% sure, like every other season, DAMN will release the date when they know. They could be busy working on a major revision that will benefit us all, but because of people demanding ht season now, it will get left out.

Well, we are hoping Mauti is going to re appear soon and league us all to another season, while he is not here, the other admins have been hammering out rules, thinking about modifying ladders and all that good fun stuff.

the league survives on its members, and many members really enjoy playing on the DBL.  Its a symbiotic relationship.  We just wanted an estimate.

Indeed. Myst your concern for our delicate feelings are appreciated but there was no feeling of blame or insult or any negative input recieved at this end regarding T's post.

As Spike has said we're partially awaiting the return of Mauti so that we can put the flags up and sound the trumpets, but there are a few rule adjustments to rules that need to be made - and there are discussions regarding the lack of activity of some ladders - and demand for the introduction of new ladder.

So in terms of a estimate as long as Mauti hasn't run away to Hawaii with a hot red headed hula girl, we should be able to get the next season started within the next fourtnight. - don't take that as solid though please, for all we know mauti is allready on the plane with his grass skirt!!

Because of OS X 10.4 Release Last Friday I would like to see a small delay on starting Season 11. Some people have been experiencing some crashing of their applications (Games/Browser). Give the members a chance to have their Games up-to-date if possible.

Well.. just useing Safari 2.0 and trying to scroll down to your last post crashed Safari 4 times. Turned on FireFox and was able to get here. Apprently some ppl are experiencing RvS not working. For myself... Ghost crashed 1 x  others a few times more.

That is why I recommend not to install Tiger just yet. Wait for a patch or two!

BTW, BFG + Spike, you might note that I didn't fight with anyone there. I was simply pointing out what I thought what a comment that was questionable.
