Reading Tom Clany's novel: Rainbow Six
«

Hi today I bought Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six and it seems to be a very exciting novel. And maybe it is a miracle but on the first 30 pages the word DAMN appeared approximatly 50 times, hehhe.(I bought the english book) 897 pages are waiting for me.
Small talk isn't it! =) But I recommend this book to all true Rainbow Six fans.

Actuallty, I'm reading that too...it's a great book. Really lets you know what Rainbow Six was besides the misisons. I love the first chapter about John, Ding, and Allistar on the plane with the hijackers.

Good book, it is somewhat close to the game. The later parts are pretty DAMN gory.

The ending is the best, kind of reminds me of R6 veterans hunting down newbies...

LOL, not me, I can't seem to get many headshots, all I can do is pump 30 rounds of standard NATO 5.56 into my opponents torso in 2 seconds, then run around frantically reloading, and hoping that my DSL helps me out a bit... but usually it doesn't :-(

Wow---I just found this ancient post growing mold in the back of this bulletin board. But notice that if you are not aware of your history, you are doomed to repeat it. There is an almost identical thread called "have you read Rainbow six" that's a bit more recent. So I just wanted to resurrect this to remind you of the past. In other words, I am mordbidly bored.

If You REALLY want to get into the spirit of RS you should read WITHOUT REMORSE first which is the early days of Mr Clark during the Vietnam era. Very cool if you wanna go all out you should read the series in chronological order.
Without Remorse
Patriot Games
The Cardinal of the ?Kremlin
Hunt For Red October
Sum of All Fears
Clear and Present Danger
Debt of Honor
Executive Orders

haha. And don't forget the other character in some of the books, Jack Ryan. I'm not sure about the order of his involvement with them, but its something like:
The hunt for red october
red storm rising
patriot games
the cardinal of the kremlin
debt of honor
executive orders
the bear and the dragon

hehe, good try at the orders. If you wanna know anything about those seiries of books that we all have mentioned, then just go to that website. it has the order, a timeline, and summaries of all the books
