Here it is, the quiz for March.  This is a quiz about automobiles.  The first person to correctly answer all 10 questions will win a Collector's Edition 1/18 Scale 2003 Ford Thunderbird James Bond Edition from the movie Die Another Day ($55 Retail value and made available only to U.S. Ford Dealers)!  Be sure to read the rules before attempting the quiz.

Good Luck!

1. What is the Option Order Code (3 digit letter/number combination) for the FX4 Off Road Package on a 2005 Ford F-250?

2. The Lincoln LS shares its platform with what 2 other Ford Motor Company vehicles?

3. What is the Maximum Approach Angle (in degrees) for a 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo?

4. What size engine (in liters) did the 1983 Plymouth Sapporo Super Sport have?

5. Before Political Correctness caught up with them, what car company ran a slogan that said "Ohhhh, what a fun bunch of guys..."?

6. What is the oldest car company in the world (that has never gone out of business)?

7. What was the name of the first vehicle the Packard motor company produced?

8. What is the world's fastest production car of all time (in terms of top speed attained)?

9. What is the world's only car company currently producing a front-line military fighter aircraft (of a design that is their own, not license-built)?

10. How many of the 300 1953 Chevrolet Corvettes built were delivered with non-standard wheel covers?

Congratulations to :MoD: Shade who has successfully answered all 10 questions on the March Quiz correctly.

The answers are:

1. 55F

2. Jaguar S-Type and Ford Thunderbird

3. 32.4 (the Porsche Cayenne is my favorite SUV)

4. 2.6L (the 1983 Plymouth Sapporo, imported from Mitsubishi, was my first car)

5. Toyota

6. Mercedes-Benz

7. Packard Model A

8. McLaren F1 (although the Sledgehammer Corvette was the fastest street legal car, the McLaren F1 takes it as far as production cars go)

9. Saab (Mitsubishi only license-builds American fighters for front line use in Japan)

10. 25 (the first 25 were built with Chevy's regular wheel cover as the correct ones for the 1953 Corvette were on back-order with the manufacturer)

You'll have to unscrew it from its base before you do that.  It's mounted as a collector's item...not a toy!  lol

I'm going to the Post Office to ship it to you right now.  You should have it Monday or Tuesday if it goes out today.

Hey, starting the quiz at 6:27 AM on a Saturday Morning is unfair to those of us on AST. . . Shade had already answered it by the time I woke up.

Shade, how much do you want for the prize?

But if I start it at a good time for the ONE guy that lives in Alaska, then none of Europe would get to play! lol

Actually, I was thinking the prize would be my 1973 Collector's Edition all-metal Tonka Truck.  It's mint, and I hear it's actually worth some big bucks!  lol[/size]
