KoS.Rebel vs Johnny Damon

Well, the title pretty much says it all, but first some background info. I play baseball for Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, FL. If u do a quick check on what school Damon went to you will find it was my school. I pitch for DP's baseball team. Johnny usually comes up to our practices and hits with us and just hangs out with us along with AJ Pyrzinski (tough last name to spell). Well we had our second scrimmage the other day and Johnny asked our coach if he could play in it. So he suited up and was playin centerfield for the opposing team. After my first inning of pitching, i jogged back out to the mound for a second and the lead of batter was none other then Damon. Being that ive talked to the guy more then once I know hes cool and absolutely mashes. He said he would use his wood bat rather then the alluminums we use in High School. So, i get on the hill and get the sign from my catcher, curveball. I throw, clearly a strike but called a ball by the ump behind the plate.  Next pitch, ball 2, dunno how i got behind but shit happens. Third pitch, i walk the line of cockiness and throw damon an inside fastball on 2-0. SNAP! Damons bat breaks in half and the ball rolls slowly to my second basemen who throws him out. He was more surprised then i was. But being the cool guy he is, he took the broken bat, signed it, and i am now getting it framed. How many times do you get to throw to a major league hitter and break his bat?

He's an outfielder for the World Champion Red Sox who looks like the son of God.

Cool story Rebel. A guy who was in my graduating class in HS is in the White Sox system as a pitcher and looks likely to get up to the majors at some point.

I actually got to face Jared Weaver (Jeff Weaver's little bro and the #7 pick by the angels)  my senior year in HS.  First at bat i doubled on a slider that I poked oppo down the line.

second at bat, the fucker hit me in the ribs.
