Hope to see you all on the battle grounds. I know I will be dedicating my mac to host this game as soon as it comes out. voo

Ive been reading a bit tonight at work (boring here) and from what I gather it is only going to be a 4 vs. 4 Multiplayer game. I have a feeling this will impact the potential sales of this game. I hope they up it to at least 5 vs. 5.

It depends on the maps and the way you are forced to doteamplay - e.g. if its teamplay turns out to be like the one of Capture the Enemy 4vs4 is more than enough in my opinion.
However I also think the game is promising I only hope they don't focus too much on single player and their "USMC" tactics.

true in terms of a 2 team 4v4 CB its just about bleeding perfect! for normal 'fun games' its probably different... I had thought i read somewhere that there would be an open 'free for all' type game mode allowing more than 8 players.. might have just been my imagination however!  lol are you being paid by Scott for plugging GR civic?  |

it looks like this game could be a winner... with requirements that low I think this game may have potential to be as big as GhR was on the mac... we'll see

Remember, 500 mhz requirements are just the minimum spec's. If you want the game to look its best in all its glory you will need G5 1.6 with a 64mb Graphic's card or better. Just look at RvS, minimum specs are 800mhz? I have a 1ghz desktop with 1 gig ram and ATI 8500 w/64mb vram and it runs like pooooooo.

I had a 1GHZ G4 with 1GB RAM and a 64MB graphics card, and RvS ran fine. I've got a 1.5GHZ G4 with 512 RAM and a 128MB card now and it runs about the same. I do think some of that "low system requirements" stuff is bullshit. By the time it's released, I imagine it'll require at least 800Mhz.
