I just wanted to ask that possibly for Season 11 their could be a new rule that all cb games must be recorded and Reservoir, Bunker Park, and possibly Dedust be aloud again as playable maps.  Since every game is recorded anyone that thinks they were glitch killed could just review the replay of the game.  Reservoir and Bunker Park are really nice CB maps and its a shame they can't be played in CB's.
Also for Season 11 maybe a new change to the WZ with new spawn locations or smoke locations on maps to change things up a little.

Download the DBL rules. Read them. You will see that they state clearly:

Record Game: ON

As to the maps, there have been extensive discussions both in the admin section and the public bl forum about using them or not. The consensus is that while they are fun maps, there are just to many glitches to have them be playable maps. Search the forums, I'm sure you will find a topic on it.

And as to a change in the maps, I guess that would be a modders concern, and if someone wants to do it, they should go ahead.

PUNISHER, if you have ever played dedust in a cb, IT SUCKS!  also bunker park, horrible edge work on that map.  You can also be glitching and not even know it, it is so bad.  Im not sure what the deal w/resevoir is but it has some bad glitches.

It was decided nearly 4-5 seasons ago that you had to have a reason to request a replay:

1.  So clans could not comb over each and every round looking for anything that might resemble a glitch in order to nullify the map even if the suspected glitcher was nowhere near any of the action......

2.  So clans could not simply store all replays to review opponents formations, stategies, etc....

It seems that this community is full of tons of players who have no idea about this and continue to simply blurt out at the beginning of each cb "RECORD ALL REPLAYS AND SEND THEM TO US"

Please explain once again that you must have a valid reason for requesting a replay.  After a reason is given the host MUST send the replay in question over email within 15 mins of the match.  But a host has NO OBLIGATION to send all replays.  You must have the balls to call out a reason and/or an opposing player who you feel has cheated in some way.

Oh YEAH man... cbing and participating in a gaming league is much more productive than reviewing cb replays.  I mean.. who would waste their time doing that when they can post rule complaints on the battle league forums? geez. friggin' idiots.

anyone here your thinking of? Well, to make it simple, you can make a rulet that even the home team must state want the replay just like the away team, or else they can't use the replay evidence against the other clan. It dosn't stop ppl from looking at them to learn tactics, but it will stop them from scanning the replay for glitches.

A little spotsmanship goes a long way.  Simply stated, I trust that I am never being knowingly glitched.  I have been around long enough to know most all the players I play against.  The few times I have had an issue with a glitch or something like a crash that would cause a CB to be placed in question it has usually ben resolved by me and the opponent in a fair manner.  It called being fair and being able to admit you might have made a mistake and glitched.

I may be naive, but there is a saying that says, "you judge the same way you live."  If accuse others of cheating all the time for little or no reason,  then it's usually because you yourself are guilty of some malfeasance.

You get to know which players cause trouble or who you highly suspect of doing something unsporting.  Since I simply play this game for fun and for the thrill of some cheap competition I just don't play with or against the guys I think are being dishonest in their tactics.  it just makes it easier that way.  Most of the time you can't even prove a glitch was in fact a glitch.  It usually take overwhelming evidence or an admisson.

oh, and Punisher... Reservoir has a few HUGE glitches as does Dust and Bunker Park.  if it were possible to trust that all players were being honest and not using glitches then it wouldn't be a problem, I suppose.  I for one LOVE bunker park and think it is a great CB map, save for the glitches.

A QUESTION FOR THE ADMINS:  can i use one of these maps in a CB if both clans agree?  I'm not sure if this is possible.  I know you might think it unwise.  But against players that I wholeheartedly believe are honest I don't see why it would be a problem, afterall, it would be us knowingly assuming the risks.  I assume the answer might be yes, but the *DBL will not handle any problems arising from using that map in a CB.  Thanks in advance for the speedy and helpful response.

We've had a few instances where we've gone into game and opposition have crashed, we sporting fellows restart the round, where as the rules suggest continue playing no matter who has a man down. The current ladder in its present state is working well for the community. My clanmates know of my constant ramblings about the point system, merely because at the start of the season my fears were recognised. We lost to cO, Po, [a] simply because noone else would cb us. Once in that 0-3 position noone continued to want to cb us except those that had already beaten us. Eventually the circle broke and our cbs are picking up but this is why i wanted forced cbs with limited amount of times against each clan.
