I stand by my USB DSP 500 suggestion.

Good going. Any DSP headset from plantronics will work for voice, but if you want good sound you need a DSP 400 and up, for great you need the DSP 500.

Ok I am ashamed to say that I ignored the advice of the others and bought some $20 Altec Lansing headset from Target only to find out the microphone doesnt work.

i guess it's not USB since it's a worthless 20$ headset... so your problem probably is that you need a so-called "iMic". google it up if you don't know what it is. the mic will work with it... just... the iMic itself is almost worth double as much as your Altec headset. Tongue
