Pagemaker.. U looked at the new 'Pages' from apple -seems like a very nice simple DTP for newsletters etc, very user friendly (surprise surprise)
Howd u do the VHS to DVD - I mean how are you hooking your player to your Computer etc...
The VHS to DVD is a converter made by Pinnacle Systems. I have the MovieBox DV which plugs into your FireWire port on your mac. On one side of the box, you plug in your video, and left and right audio channels (also S-video if you have it) and on the other side you plug in the FireWire. You use iMovie to capture the video, then you can edit the video and burn it onto a DVD, or transfer it back through the converter and make a new VHS tape. The actual converter box is very pretty and is designed by the good folks at Porsche. I picked the converter up back in June when I visited BTs_Lee.Harvey in North Carolina at the Apple Store there (my first trip ever to an Apple Store...the nearest one to me is 400 miles away). It works very good, and I have already converted mine and my parent's wedding videos, home movies, and lots of other stuff to DVD.My parents are missionaries That explained a lot  |
