I hope it'll be moddable. LA hasn't been too good with that over the years.

It's different, unlike anything I'm used to. Not bad though, I'll probably pick it up, release tomorrow I think I saw?

I like the Jedi Knight series. The whole lightsaber and force powers were sweet. Think I'll ask a friend to download the demo and try it out.

Just tried it. It was really fun. It is in no way realistic ala GR, RS or OFP. The graphics are really cool, and the helmet display is an immersive experience. Having your squad around really helps, in case you get incapacitated, they can help you, and if they get wounded, you can help them.
I thought the DC17 blaster under powered, but if you can pick your targets effective. The sniper attachment is very powerful. The shotgun equivalent is devasting up close, but sucks at anything beyond.Game play is very different from JK, but the environmentals will make you feel at home. It takes a little bit to get used to giving squad commands. The squad is fairly intelligent, but you do have to pay attention to them. I'll be getting it.

Yep, this one and Kotor 2 when they come out. Talk about putting Lucas' kids through school, I've put his great-great-grandkids through school!

Well my copy finally arrived. The game is great! Atmospherics, gameplay, graphics, all are great! My biggest complaint is that the levels are so detailed you want to explore while you're trying beat off the droids and bugs.

I am debating on this one, there are so many titles on the horizon, I can't decide. After playing the demos for SWT & SC3:CT those are on my for sure list, BF2 and BIA look very promising as well.... then there is all the cool shit I have to buy for the AR15 I don't shoot everyday.

I'm pretty sure it's being "acquired" by my best friend now. Should be fun. So far I've read one disparaging review and one good review. Can't wait for BIA and SC:CT too.
Also just spent $600 on update parts for a new machine. AMD Athalon 64 3400, MSI K8T Neo-FSR (5 PCI - 3 DDR - 8 USB - SATA) MB, 1GB PC3200 DDR RAM, Seagate 120GB 7200RPM SATA HD. Gotta buy a case still too. Then I'll pull my CD Burner and FX 5800 out of this machine and I'm set. Can't wait to get this new rig up.

Tell him to look at A-Ray Scanner and Alcohol 120 to make backups. Its securom 5x copy protection.
What's BIA and SC:CT?
SC, you get firewire with that rig? Firewire is sweet.

Yeah, he uses Alcohol and virtual drives.
BIA = Brothers In Arms, SC:CT = Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. They both look awesome.
Nah, no firewire as yet, just what I listed. My friends throwing it all together for me when it gets here. Maybe in a future upgrade, I'm done for now.

I didnt like the game at all. I played it for about 10 minutes, running around and killing everything and uninstalled it. If your into the sci-fi stuff you will probably like it, I hated it.
