Im gonna reinstall os9 on my mac and install RS again. I thought it would be fun to have a large game of 12-16 persons one night a week. Let me know what you all think.

11 pm or later would be good for Fridays and Saturdays, IMO.

It'd be awesome to get some rogue spear going again. Mattster's post actually inspired me to dig up my CD and play some singleplayer.

I'd have to go with Thursday night myself, but any weekday would work well. I'm rarely home on weekend nights, so those aren't so good. I'd love to play some RS again.

Tuesdays are best for me I think. But I'll play anytime, except weekends when I'm usually busy.

So this fixes the laggy issue that used to be caused when trying to play RS through classic?

Well:

When I'm playing Rogue Spear now, I can't decide which runs better:

Rogue Spear through classic on my G5 1.6, or through OS9 on my G4 700.

The one and only difference I have noticed is that there seems to be a delayed bullet sound, but it's ok, because bullets will still fire and do damage the instant I click.

to be able to run Classic (to be able at all to select it with the Classic System Preference) you need a full installation of the OS9 system, the OS9 systemfolder in particular.

hmm, i did it with booting from the OS9 cd and then installing it from there. the most important part is the OS9 systemfolder because this is what you select with the Classic system preference in OSX to be able to start it.

Classic should be w/ your latest cd of OS X.  I think I remember it as being easy to install.

I'd have to get my RS cd next time I make a run home and re-install it, then let the KoS ownage begin.  Wink
