weird how some people use the word nazi.  most of the time it seems like kids who dont really know what it means. or its history.  i was hosting a game the other day and a guy who cleverly called himself Hitler, came in and quickly left again.

there are just some things that should be respected and left as memories.

Okay, I don't want to get into a big Nazi debate here, but I would venture to say that Americans probably have a better grasp of who the Nazis were better than most Europeans.  You guys in Europe have a bad habit of trying to cover up your mistakes rather than face them.  Here in the United States, we study the history of Nazi Germany...you either know your history or you will forced to repeat it.  My wife tells me all the time that most of the books on Hitler and the Nazis that are available in the United States are banned in Germany and her home country of Austria.  Now how is banning part of your own history doing your people any good?  The major emphasis of my history studies for my History degree were World War II and Nazi Germany.  So, I have a VERY good grasp of what the Nazis were, who they were, and their crimes against humanity to name a few.  Now, what you in Europe tend to misunderstand is this:  When an American calls a Euro a "Nazi", they are not saying you are into murdering jews, torturing innocent people, or anything like that....they are using the "Dictatorship" mentality of the Nazis to describe you.  It would be like me calling a Russian I don't like a "Communist".  Well guess what, the fucking Communists killed more innocent people than Adolf Hitler ever DREAMED about killing.  Hitler doesn't hold a candle to Stalin.  So, would you in Europe feel better if Americans called you Communists instead of Nazis?  Because, realistically, you are heading more in the direction of Communism in your governments anyhow.  The first step is Socialism, and nearly all of your governments in Europe are already there.  So, Communism is right around the corner.

Just one obvious fact: the europeans experienced the nazi regieme first hand, for years. The US did not. I don't see how you can claim that the Americans "have a better grasp of who the nazi's were." the *DAMN staff would also like to thank all participating clans of the GhR tournament for playing. Except for hosting issues, we almost had no problems, and even those didn't exist long.

concerning this new nazi debate: I think we have discussed this for quite some time before the downtime. So if you want to say something that hasn't been already said, do it in the general gossip.
