Why not for successful ladders e.g. Ghr team. Have one Ladder which would be the 1st Div. and have a 2nd Div. for all the new comers. This way there would be a penalty for coming last, u drop down into the 2nd Div.

Say 12 clans in 1st Div.

*all clans under 12th moved to 2nd Div.

16+ clans in 2nd Div.

If introduced it could put a lot more competitive in cbing. And noob clans wouldn't get as ripped off as they do, but have an eviroment in which they can compete, it would also weed out the clans that don't last long.

just a thought.

Indeed this idea has some potential but it wouldn't be two ladders, just one that is split in 2, right?

It sounds good as text, and the idea is lovely. But how would it work? I might sound like a broken LP record  Grin but I don't think our gaming community is big enough to support two separate ladders. And I know I would hate it if there was only a 2nd division clan online, and we couldn't cb them becouse they are on a different ladder.

Just a thought.

you could say top 8 clans is in in 1st division - and can only cb the top 8 clans , then all others ( depends on how many clans there are ) will be on 2nd Division.

then the top 3-4 clans from 2nd Division goes up to 1st division

and from 2nd Division - top 3-4 clans goes to 1st division.

(example) - that would be cool...

It?s a great idea, I really like the thought of having a second divison for newcomers to grow in before facing the badasses with no lifes, who played GhR for 2 years.

But as Joka puts it...this is a small community, and it?s hard enough to get a cb as it is, so it might be a bad idea after all.

what if some more experienced guys decide to build a new clan... with good players...? they'd have to play in the 2nd division first and be bored that complete season, eh? Wink

Actually, yeah, I think they should have to. Clans that are banned should also have to. Just because you are a good player and have a great rep, you shouldnt be get treated any better than the rest.

Uhmm you can get bored from playing other cb's too  Wink

I like the idea, but who's gonna tell who can be in 1st and who can't... And will the 1st division have a setup roster where they have to play against certain clans in a certain amount of time... mb we can just do it like the champions league (for all the euros who know it). Groups of 5-6 clans that play against eachother lets say 4 times, best 2 of each group go to the next round.
A time limit to subscribe your clan, the top 4 clans of last season will be split up into 4 (or more - depends on the amount of clans) seperate groups and with lottery the rest of the group will be picked.

Just an idea...

.... Ah geeze nobody ever listens to me Sad I suggested this as an alternative structure about two damn seasons ago - built on the system of the English Football league... guess i might as well go back to

... ps. nice idea Narauko. There are problems though with it as have been mentioned - probably the most inportant is it in effect lowers the activity of the ladder as there are less clans to choose between to play (its hard enough as it is!)

lol, maybe he meant to let clans choose what league they want to play in? for example, a new clan with very unexperienced players could sign up for the less good ladder to get some practice etc... and the good ones for the good ladder for competition. Smiley

Keep normal ladder
Add ladder for only noobs
Ladder for only noobs is optional BUT only allows noobs
Normal ladder allows everyone
