I've been bashing the dev's to some extent in the official forums cause of the way it was looking to come out.. . becouse they (the dev's) have said over and over in different places that "they are making it less tactical and adding more action" AKA. Please the 10 year old Xbox players. Still looks like GhR though... x5
I'm really hoping this is gonna be GhR with better grafix, less bugs.. . Well that alone would result in a perfect game. The kit selection is gonna be new.. . mmm... ahhhhhhh
Thx Ross, this made me look forward to it again, kinda lost hope for alittle while. I think I'm gonna get a Xbox just to get it earlier

Awh Crikey Joka you cant get an xbox just for GhR2!!
Im the same regarding the worry that they are shredding the tatical skill side of GhR to please the 10year olds.... And athough that worry is still there, there are many things in that video clip that are very encouraging! The movment of the ghosts - crouching, running, rolling and crawling look a hundred times better - especially rolling and crawling. - jjust looks a hell of a lot more fluid and smooth - really wellshown in the hand movments.
Grass. Im a bloody grass fanatic! The more of it the better, long thick grass for cover to crawl through etc... and there are signs of it, the maps look
so much richer
the tree trunks actually look like tree trunks! - at the start of the video youve got grass blowing in the wind and the sound of the water and the actual water effects look good! Muzzle flash's also look vastly inproved - not to mention the effects when bullets hit the water and spray comes up during the firefight under the bridge
Explosions, dust, smoke all look a hell of a lot better.
im not sure about the gun physics but thats somthing that you can't really tell much until you play.... Not to sure about the quality of the AI either - although thats irrelevant considering the fact most of us are more interested in MP
Good to see the Havok 2 Physics engine is in there as well.
That vid gave us a nice range of gameplay as well - first bit being quite traditional GhR and the last bit in the village looking a lot more RvS
... So, seeing as its looking good and like a cracking game, bets are we never see it on the mac platform now

What?
You wouldn't be able to play online (unless you got xbox live). Would be boring playing by yourself.
If you get an xbox, get it for Halo2, Half-life 2 and Doom 3.

Yea but I would learn the maps and when Ghr2 comes out for mac I could wipe you guys out for the first few weeks, until you learn them and its time for my spanking

Cough they do have a keyboard adapter for one game, though they say it is exclusive to that it may be extended to other games.
And you can play xbox games online, with Xbox Live...

Ok let me get this straight, first they stick our processors in their console, then they steal all the good games, and then they take away one of the biggest advantages of FPS gaming on a comp (mouse and keyboard)??

Meh, I prefer the controller of the Xbox for the games they offer. Many games wouldn't feel the same without a controller. SC won't feel the same without a controller, and probably GhR2 will only feel complete with a controller over your mouse.

OGM.. I cant believe you are saying a controller is better then the keyboard and mouse when it comes to FPS games.... The only type game I feel the conroller is better is for driving/ racing gmaes... I used to play PS2/Xbox for gamig only for a while.... but it sooo much easier to play on the comp.

I didn't say it was better for all, I didn't even say most. I said many... some games wouldn't feel complete without them. There are a lot of games designed for the controller, and without them they just doesn't feel the same.

I played trough Medal of honor: Allied Assault on PS2, the controller was acctually pretty OK for the job once you got used to it. Kinda like playing
dark forces
on a computer. But still the mouse and keyboard combination is the best solution these days for tactical shooters atleast.
If anyone has seen that movie where have these huge robot fights as entertainment for an audience, and the guys controlling those robots are standing on a "running mat" surrounded by monitors and hooked up with all sort of sensors. So when the guy moves his hand, the robot moves his hand exactly like him, when he runs, the robot runs etc.. That would be a great way to play GhR5 and when you get shot you get alittle *zap* from the machine

More gameplay and commentary. They also say the PS2 version uses the unreal engine.
