I think this could be great news. We've had no real GTA style games. What do you think, anyone who has played it?

I have this game on PS2, so much fun.

The only downside I see to it is that there's no multiplayer.

It's a GTA+Max Payne+Jet Li rip-off. That doesn't mean it isn't fun. The problem is, it's very, very short. I bought a used copy from Electronics Boutique for my GC, and returned it in five days after beating it like a red-headed stepchild. If there were a bigger variety of street crimes to stop, it'd have more replay value, but as it is, once you've run through the linear campaign and stopped the same dozen street crimes two hundred times, it kind of pales.

The gunplay is damn fun, the driving isn't bad, and the martial arts are excellent. The martial arts boss fights are probably the only really challenging things in the game.

Whether I'd get this game for the Mac depends on the multiplayer implementation. I don't think it's likely to be very good, so the game's probably not going to be worth my time. Hopefully I'm wrong.

problem child comes to mind...anyone remember that one? huh? mr. peebody? ok.

i think the multiplayer is gonna be sick if there's martial arts. imagine beating on someone like they were some kind of personal Dee Snider punching bag, and then rubbing it in their faces like 'ohhh i slapped the shit outta you, you my bitch now nigga'. that's nice.

In a way I get payed for it. At the end of every testing I get the game upon its release. So i basically get payed 50 bucks a job. I myself got in cause i wanted to test C and C generals and then i got into the whole scheme when a new guy took over the leadership of beta testing and took all the testers and made one big list and that list are todays beta testers. That and im uber cool!

That doesn't answer the question, you're being elusive.  Nothing against you.

This game isn't something i would want to buy just because it seems like a cheap rip, but some people seem to like it. Make sure to check out Metal Gear Solid 3 in November it's a great game if you like deep and complex story lines. It also has good third person game-play.

Well, that shut me up.

And yes, it's true that if you play GTA, you won't be totally blown away by this game. But I don't know... there was just something really fun about this game in my opinion (I'm an avid GTA player).
