I loved UT, possibly my favorite game ever. I just deleted BF to make way for VPC so I can play party poker on my computer.

before GhR my main game was Unreal Tournament... then I got into tactical shooters.

Quake 3 was the worst game ever. It had worse graphics than UT and was just more chaotic. It also seemed to be slower paced. the worst game ever... Worse graphics than UT? ever played QIII with full settings , 1600x1200 res on a 22 inch screen? its not bad.. at sorry but UT was bloody ugly Chaotic? yes a proper fast paced FPS, slower paced? Than UT? have you played either game myst or did u just pluck this out the clouds? QIII was one of the best bloody games that came to the Mac - find me a game engine that has done as much for mac gaming as the QIII engine has done. when it was released the graphics were great, the gameplay is bloody fast and compared to UT? i wouldn't care to put the two side by side. |

UT did more for mac. Quake is a good engine FPS wise, thats it. Quake franchise = dead. Put a brand new Unreal engine game next to a quake game. Quake is dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead. And yes I typed all of those.
