A Community? Please!

On the site www.dictionary.com, the definition of "Community" is Sharing, participation, and fellowship. Its amazing that we call our selves a community when those three principles are missing from this forum completely. I myself along with Hyb have realized that GR is pointless, its use is purely for shit talking. I dunno if anyone else here has realized it but we sure have. Its basically to form rivalries and just talk up a big game. Same with these forums. People are abusing power, bashing others, and there is purely no fellowship at all. Sure there are people that are friends but hell! There are so few "mac gamers" that everyone should know and get along with everyone. I mean in the PC world there are enough people to hate but HELL right now in the B and G there are 102 people. Sure there are those guys that are flamers and dont act their age but the clanners should. I mean hell! If you wanna settle something, why do people post here!? I know that I myself have fallen to the powers of posting crap talk on the forums and I hate to see it after i post it and go "damn, why did i do that?" Basically, this post is here to say that if we want things to start going back to the bright side, we need to pull together. No longer should we war against eachother with words, but aim our hatred against the peeeeceee enemies. Why must we hate eachother when all it does it break the few of us apart? If all this continues i will leave this community. Id like to see things back the way they were during the RS days when everyone know everyone and everyone hated Rapid together. Sure people didnt like eachother but they didnt come on here and flame against everyone to prove some god forsaken point that most of us dont care to read about. All im saying is, if we bring it together, we will not fall.

Shit talking and being part of a community arent mutually exclusive. Hell, if we all got along and agreed all the time it would be kindof boring.

Also, there is a difference btw talking shit like "fag", "noob", "i pwned u" (which, unfortunately happens to be dominant on GR) and more sophisticated forms of mockery and assing.

It's funny, I never saw that thread about banning those two, and then made my own.

I think the difference between us and PGR is that they take threads like that seriously, whereas the guys on my poll were in competition to be the guys that were voted most-wanted to be banned.

i think the main reason why there is so much tension is becuase of those fucking GR account #'s. the old RS players are say "Fucking GHR n00bs" we mean you RS people no harm we come to play games not to fight over the internet. the ghost recon players retaliate because its just so damn rediculous to call people out on what game they play.....

A simple way to fix the problems in the community: Harsh retribution against people who bitch or complain about a cb. And I mean harsh. Just flame the SHIT outta them. I know that's against everything I stand for, but it would set people straight. And, if the Admins find out that a clan was a cheating or there was a real reason for that person to be bitching, then we flame the hell outta the other guys and make them not want to ever come back.
       Just an idea. People whine because they think people will listen to them and feel sorry for them. Hell no. I want them to feel so alienated after they whine that they'll never do it again, even if they're being stabbed by monkeys and having orange juice poured into their wounds. If we don't put up with all this garbage, it'll stop eventually. Now, I'm not saying that we should stop people from filing a valid complaint if there was some seriously messed up stuff going on in the cb. That's bad. But I also don't want people being so nitpicky during CB's that they're constantly looking for a way to force the other to team forfeit, instead of enjoying the fun of it.
