i made it to see how well i could make make a model really and so unoptimised it comes in at a hefty 8554 polys and i was wondering what you thought.

Beautiful model. Not that it would make a big dent in the poly count, but you could use an alpha channel to make the holes in the rail system. Nice model tho.

the rail system is accually 1500 polys so if i ever find a good enough texture to put into GR i'll replace it with a solid one and alpha it

Great model supasniper, love all the details. The poly count is super high though, lots of the details you built into the model can just be added through great texturing of a lower poly, less detailed model. Nice job though.
