so it seems that the MGL has been pushed out of Rebels plans.  No problem.  I do believe that we've got much better things on the horizon than what Aspire and MSCN can provide.

Yep, there will be much better prizes than just games. The league will be up shortly (prolly in about a week or two) and more will be revealed then.


I don't mean to be rude here, but rebel you might want to watch who you fuck cause sometimes others can bite back harder. Thanks for the original invite, I wish we could've worked together on making the MGL as prominent as DAMN and something would finnaly be given back to the player instead of just an icon. Anyway... You wanna know what i did? Ok! I told Eight I dont need his help with the 4v4 Tourney due to the fact we only have 3 teams playing in it. I felt i could decide whos playing who at what times on what maps cause its only 3 teams and thats my decision. I dont understand why they are taking offense to the whole matter because at first i did need their help. I thought id have 6+ teams but i didnt, and how was i supposed to know i wouldnt!? Once you see my side u will understand why I did what i did but I dont know why Eight and MGL is flipping out over a small 3 team 4v4 Tourney.

MGL pushed out Rebels plans? I suspect that of the # of clans participating. MSCN  is fairly new nor i believe you guys can ever comprehend its capabilities. I would use your service JUST for MSCN support of shoutcasting your favorite CBs.  

Good Luck with MGL, im sure as hell not going anywhere near it.

He asked us for help with his tournament... we said yes...

We then worked our asses off to have shit ready for the 9th... We also helped with promotion and stuff...

I just felt a bit fucked over when 2 days before the Tournament he comes to me and says we don't need you anymore..

So now it's back to MacSN & Aspyr presents:

Yet Aspyr is not giving out prizes because not enough teams showed up... funny thing is he still rocking the "Aspyr" name...

Just fellt a bit dicked over, nothing major......

To the rest of you...see yall on the battlefield... New ghr tourny coming soon!

Either way Nomad, whether they do or don't, I'm sure there will be a hella lot more shit going on in the MGL that will satisfy more people.  Our hope and ambition wasn't to take the DBL out of existance, but to play together side by side.  Now we've got anonymous cowards posting here simply because they think they are happy with the way shit is going here currently. That's fine, nothing that I can nor want to say to change your mind.  But before you go out and desparage someone else's work... show us what you've done. You obviously haven't done shit cause you can't even post under your true identity.. what a lamer.

We've worked incredibly hard to try and bring some flavor to the mac community, and I didn't insult Rebel in any way.  I even asked for understanding.  You should be so lucky to find someone with that kind of respect for others to admin the DBL and and speak the truth about what is happening.  yes, we feel a little fucked since we wanted to make this a partnership of sorts. MSCN is a cool idea, and what Rebel has done to bring in aspire is absolutely fantastic.  but if shit doesn't work out you don't go and tell others that you don't need them any more... expecially after working together for a few weeks and knowing that there were more than just one person involved.  This whole system could have existed as ONE unit, so next time the least you could do John, is have the balls to fess up at least your identity...

Its true Nomad. Basically, Mac Shoutcasting Network does not plan on hosting tourneys after this one for the soul reason that thats not what MacSN is here to do. Hosting tourneys and ladders is what we leave for people like Eight and his ladder and DAMN and their ladders to do. All Mac SHoutcasting Network is here to dois shoutcast matches. We are not like any ladder, we dont even HAVE ladders. The only reason im doing this tourney is to gain more recognition. Eight, you have to understand that at first i needed your help. I thought id have alot of teams and that id need someone who had tourney scrips to set up, but basically when there are 3 teams i can do this myself. If u havent noticed, ive been calling it the MacSN tourney due to the fact Aspyr will not support us with prizes due to the low number of teams. I did not mean in any way to bash MGL, its just if i can set it up then i will. At first i didnt think i coudl but now i do. If u wanna blame anyone, blame everyone who didnt join the tourney. so it's not entirely between you and just eight. I know where youre coming from Rebel, but there's alot of stuff that Eight, Fusion, GhostSniper, and I did in trying to figure out ways to melt it all together.  


I also appreciate that you mentioned that you didn't mean to bash the MGL, although i didn't take it that way... some users/posters have. Thanks for that clarification.
