Well since I have the update, the game seems laggier... buggier then before  I had to remap all my keys... Then when I went in a game I couldn't fire my gun, I had to remap my mouse button with a normal key and then turn it back to the mouse button before it started working. All the keys I mapped for my all the sorts of nades didn't work... Again I had to remap them...  I tried the village map for a few rounds, but there was to much lag so I had to leave the server. I will give it another shot this evening to see if there are any improvements... I also noticed like most of you that the guns are more accurate then before. I shot a guy in his leg 2 times and he died I find it a bit strange, I'll need to get used to that and a lot of the new features. But I guess an update can never be bad, it'll all turn out well in the end. |

I also noticed like most of you that the guns are more accurate then before. I shot a guy in his leg 2 times and he died I find it a bit strange, I'll need to get used to that and a lot of the new features. This is all part of the new damage engine. The bullet may have entered his leg but it probably hit the bone and ended up taking a new path to hit his body or head therefor killing him. Just like a bullet can in real life. I guess you don't mean accurate but more damaging. This is not true the damage made by the guns are the same but rather the code is setup to inflict the highest damage "bone". For example if you shot a guy in the hand in 2.0 and bullet continued through and hit him in the head then he would only take the damage of the hand injury, where in 2.1 he will die. This is why if you pumped 5 or 10 rounds full into the chest of an enemy in 2.0 as he was facing you he probably would not die as you are actually hitting his hands most of the time. So an M4 vs an RPK has changed. Because the RPK is less accurate you had more chance to hit the head or just spread the body with rounds in 2.0 but in 2.1 the M4 is now faster firing and as accurate as ever so one quick bust kills the RPK user and the RPKer will only get of a few rounds before he is dead and most of the rounds will miss. |

Whoah. My turn: Arctic....3-6 fps (no exaggeration whatsoever) Village...6-15 fps (usually closer to 6; hits 15 when inside) Sandstorm... what happened to you... you were so perfect... The one decent map FPS wise for me, and now... Damn. I'm pissed off right now. This better get a lot less laggy fast, or I'm going to ask for a full refund. Um.. yah. |

Been playing SFCAR and so much fun  I was playing with an RPG and was firing it into the Assault side through the hole in the wall and once I seen a guy fly up into the air. It was so beautiful. |

Good news, don't know about you, but my game has been crashing less. They still did not get the run bug fixed, where you can run without preparing your gun. Although they fixed the gun duplication bug.

So far in village I'm Averaging 45-75 fps
Have sen it shoot up to 90 a few times in vilage

The EU servers are running great. There not crashing much now. Still no new maps up yet.
Authorization is up and down like a yoyo. I have only had about 20 points that have actually been recorded out of over 2000 (enough to get me to 42 honor). But today its up and its recording me score again.

I downloaded 2.1 as soon as I got home from NC on Thursday and played a few games on Arctic and Village and I must say I really like the update a lot. I havn't tried playing on any of the old maps at all yet. I didn't experience any of the problems while playing, but maybe that is just because I didn't download it until after they fixed a few bugs in the servers. I think I will set my BTs AA Server (69.25.17.56) to either Village or Arctic today.

There is still plenty servers but Gamespy sucks these days they don't give you all the data your supposed to get.
If you refresh the servers you will get different amounts every time.

I downloaded the "Full" file. This is my first attempt at using this game. I get: The following disk images failed to mount, armyops210_mac no mountable file systems. I downloaded it a second time and got the same thing.
Maybe I should try downloading the old version and upgrading it? I have a Dual 864 G4, with 512.
