Ghost, you don't even know who I am, so you can go blow yourself.
Actually, I know you pretty well.....a few months back I made a point of reading every post anybody with over 1,000 posts had written. That included YOU, Grifter, and Bucc, among others. So although I don't know you personally, I can get a pretty good feel for you through what you have written in the past.
-GhostSniper Out.
Wtf man? Are you turning into a post stalker?

I love when you make my job easier by making yourself look pathetic. *sits back and takes it all in*
Make your job easier? Please explain.

I think Assass is right, RvS could have been ported better. My only complaint of the game is the low FPS I get. And the system requirements for RvS is 733 MHz and I have a new PB 1.25GHz and I still get about 12-15 FPS with everything set to high and running at 800 x 600 resolution. The occasional time I will get 25-30 FPS but that seems to only last mere seconds and when it gets into heavy traffic times (ie. many players in the same area and shooting) it lags like a mother f____er.
I am anxiously waiting for CoD and I would rather the game be postponed an extra 2-3 months, if it meant getting a better ported game. So if anyone out there has any pull with Aspyr, please relay the message, b/c I think most ppl here agree with me.

Actually let me correct myself, I just played RvS right now and I am getting about 5-10 fps on average and occasionally it goes up to 20-25 fps for mere seconds, I have been playing without the fps activated during the game so thats why my previous numbers were wrong.

Noms you should not have everything set on high. Medium is the best.

I am so happy to see people stay on topic! I just love it! Besides, the GhR2 will most likely have the same system requirements of RvS, if not higher.

Firstly if its a brand new graphics engine, it will hopfully be making use of the new tech on the latest graphics cards... it would be hard not to have a new graphics engine that really does no less than *shit* on the original GhR engine - ok it looked nice with full graphics etc... but it was still blocky, and very rough around the edges...
To see GhR 2 using somthing superior to the current unreal engine would be very nice.

as it puts players in command of an elite squad of special forces thrust into a tense political situation in East Asia.
And a proper bloody map editor would be nice... first job to port all the original GhR maps to GhR2...
lastly like noms said... i hope its delayed by 3 months and they do the port properly, than rush it in one and do a shitty port that just runs like shite.
