I've seen this before. It stems for a sub-conscious feeling of inadequacy in their current gaming. Causes them to lash out at anything they see as a threat to their game of choice. Very nasty.

Recommened Treatment: Gradual and intermittent exposure to that which they fear the most, for that's what their inner self would most like to play.
