Now I gotta update my list cuz people put more than one... Sad I love Brutha's list, my favorite so far. Gotta love the prog rock. My semi-short list:

Primus
King Crimson
Yes
Rush
Frank Zappa
Victor Wooten
Bjork
Rush
Jaco Pastorius
Dave Matthews Band
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
Peter Gabriel. not so much a fan of Genesis as I am of Peter Gabriel. He kicks ass.

I know I'm missing something. ah well. I like my list, good enough.

mellow's list always has and always will be the most tasteful. Bela Fleck pwns.

LOL. I thought you weren't gonna post here any more bronto.  Wink

Ok here is my official list:

Beatles
Led Zeppelin
Nirvana
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Alice In Chains
Soundgarden

Overplayed and now hated:

Stone Temple Pilots
311
Incubus
Radiohead

I think snipe has very good taste in general about music and games... I think we'd get along well if we knew eachother... hehe

And Hazard, I just thought I'd point out to you the fact that you carry a Kurt Cobain quote on all your posts, but you neglected to put Nirvana on your list.

Rap & Hip-Hop ----> Embarrassed <----well...everything else.

----> RADIOHEAD <----

I should tar and feather you. No wait, ill laugh at your musical taste, because i see that you listen to your local pop rock station ( aka. KISS FM, KROQ... ect.)

and your shamless attempt to add class by inserting the beatles, makes you, and your post worth of the death penalty.

---->My Favorite<----
Radiohead ( duh they are the greatest thing since sliced bread...)
Sigur R?s
Interpol
My Bloody Valentine
Bjork
Beck
Sublime
The Who
Led Zeppelin
Cream
Jimi Hendrix
Jefferson Airplane
Love ( This is accually a band name....)
Supergrass
U2
The Cure
Bowie
Physcadelic Furs
Nick Drake
St. Germain
Zero 7
Chris Thile

it keepss going, i was having so much fun listing them...

Oooh....trying to act mature eh??? Bringing out the experimental jazz....Well...he does make good music, but there is more to the Norvegian jazz scene than Nils Petter Molv?r. There are other names, like Jan Garbareck....and Jaga Jazzist that have made a name for themselves out there. Check them out if you like Molv?r. Smiley     But what is wrong with talking about rock music? It is the best music out there.

Jan Garbareck, yep been there done that got the T-shirt (actually not the T-shirt Sad )
Not saying there is anything wrong with Rock exactly... i must admit im not the biggest fan of the heavy stuff... but there's a lot more kinds of music out there, they might be less fasionable but dosn't mean they arn't great Smiley

AFI is easily my favorite band. Davey, Adam, Hunter, and Jade kick some serious ass.

After that, here is a smattering of other bands up near the top:
Tiger Army
Flogging Molly
Less Than Jake
Bad Religion
NoFX
Metallica
Led Zeppelin
Rage Against The Machine
