In the New York Post Online you can read an interview with two former members of the Board of Directors of Disney Inc.; Stanley Gold and Roy Disney. Both men think that Steve Jobs would be a good replacement for Michael Eisner, the present CEO.

If this is true, and Jobs becomes the new CEO, I'm gonna start watching Disney films again. Grin

It would also be a good deal for Pixar, the 3d animation company of Jobs.

Yeah, Pixar just dumped Disney a few days ago as their distributer, and basically told Eisner to @#$% off in an interview to some cable new channel.

Think it's safe to say that he burned that bridge.

I don't doubt that Jobs would be interested in becoming the new CEO of disney, it would certainly expand his creative empire. Remember that his only problem with disney was the management. If he became disney's management I'm sure relations between disney and pixar would magically repair themselves.

However, I think that being CEO of two corporations is probably taking up enough of his time. If he were to add a third it might spread him too thin.

True but i just don't think they are his cuppa tea. I doubt he would leave Pixar and he aint gonna leave Apple... I just don't see disney fitting in with those to very comfortably
