Very Nice!  Grin

My favorite is: definately -- for some reason that sticks in my craw.

People, please, spell it right: definitely

Many thanks.

Not to brag, but I believe that I am one of the better spellers on this forum, but I will admit to "definitely" being my achilles foot. Without thinking about it, I'll spell it with an "a," but if I think about it, the root is "definite," which I know how to spell. I don't know why I spell "definitely" with an "a." It's just one of those few words that really get me.

Another word is "separate." I know it's spelled "separate," but for years I thought it was "seperate."

Finally, one that always got me: "genius"

I even once falsely corrected someone that wrote it as "genius," telling them it was "genious." Didn't I feel like an ass.  Wink

***

After looking back at the list, it made me feel good to find that separate and definitely were both on there.

...no genius though...

***

After looking back to the "150 more," I found genius!!!

yay!

The only words I couldn't spell on that list were the ones I'd never heard of, bellwether...?

Oh god, I'm sooooo sorry.

You're just being more specific than I intended. And I know it's heel. Why didn't I say heel? Because I didn't feel like it. Is that huge deal? Pfft.

Well snipe, if you'd have told the enemies of achilles that his foot was his weak point, and not his heel, he probably would've survived since no one would have thought about attacking his heel.
