Now for those of us who dont like magic mystic real time strategy games (cough Age of Mythology cough)  theres a new sigh of releif. Aspyr is releasing C&C generals in less than a month (the product is already in alpha). This games features tactical anomilies never before seen in mac games such as troop carrying helicopters. Finally I get to practice verticle envelopment and transport troops and artillery by chopper. I get to use blackhawks to carry out sound arieal attacks unlike other games where you use your magical bald griffin to strike down your demon enemies with their mystical warhammer of Richard Simmons. Not to mention the game looks great and you can garrison your troops inside buildings. Yes I know other C&C games did this, but they never made it to mac because the marketing folk were spending too much time giving reach arounds to infant chimpanzees. My point being, this should be a good game for those that want somewhat realistic modern day strategy. Its a shame that modern day themed real time strategy was never that popular as compared with the rampant homosexuality that fantasy themed carries on.

C&C owns all! Nothing more needs to be said.

Total Annihilation did that.

Total Annihilation did that too.

Age of Empires 2 did that.

Move along folks, nothing to see here. Just another paper/rock/scissors game.

Also, you can garrison your troops inside enemy structures, unlike AOE II.

The first C&C was on the Mac. How I wish Red Alert would of made it.
