Since I don't know you all, this thread is directed towards the Mac users of the bunch, and it's seems like there's a few.  Throw out a helpful word if you can, please:

So I just installed Panther, and I like it EXCEPT for the new voice.  It sounds like some half-asleep, geriatric smoker-woman and i just wanna shoot her! Roll Eyes  Any ideas how I can change it in iChat AV so I don't have to put up with it?  I haven't found anything...  Huh

go to your system preferences and choose "Speech" there... in this go to "Standardvoice". there?s the list of available voices and u can change it to another if u want.

my bad: I tried that, and it changes the system voice on the computer, but not the voice within the program.  I'm guessing it has to me changed within the program, but can't find where...

heh. civic you should have posted your answer in a pretty gray colour ;0)

Could always just turn it off.... That and or dig out (i think its the 3rd installer cd) with extra fonts and voices, and install some alternatives. Then jsut replace her in your libary folder ... i think.
