Yes I have but I don't know the game so someone of the players would have to put together rules: like gamemode, kit resistrictions and what else is available and needed in AA further can you host a private game at all!?

I can't play the game on my iMac so if there is an interest I could add a ladder for season 6.

Bye,

Mauti

If you're interested in adding an AA ladder, Snipe, Rebel and/or I could help you with it ( A2 members ).

While it wouldn't be all that active, I bet some of the larger GHR clans would sign up ( BTs, C, MP ), and of course A2 - I think it'd make for some nice competition.

It wouldn't work. It'd be like the reincarnation of the rainbow six ladder (even though it's alive right now... if you can call it alive at all)

Wouldn't be nearly enough competetion. Join some pc ladders.

Snipe, I disagree.

Within 2 months, AA 2.0 will be out for PC - like with 1.9, this means no more AA for us mac people for a few months. Probably longer, sense 2.0 is a far larger update than 1.9.

Also, the biggest and most popular AA ladder, TWL, won't accept mac clans because the cheat prevention system that they require doesn't work on Mac.

I think that an AA ladder could see some good action, and I'd encourage you guys to look into it.

One question can you start a host on a Mac!?

Well as said before just send me some rules that fit for AA and also someone of you, who knows the game very well, would need to become an AA BL Admin and be the person to solve issues relating to AA because I can't play this game.

Mauti

WEEKS, not months.  Remember Typhy, there are a few beta testers around here.  It wasn't quite 3 weeks from the official release (you can't count the beta tester that let his copy out on the PC side).

I don't think you'd have enough action to make it worth it.  Especially with RvS coming out soon, it's going to suck up most of the players anyway.

Yes, even if you think the game is shit Typhy, it's still going to suck up most of the players, just like GR did from RS, and just like RS did from R6.

there aren't enough AA players or clans to support a ladder.
An AA ladder would look as pathetic as the RS ladder does.

There is a problem with reaching out to PC players Ult. They demand PC clients that prevent cheats because reaching out to PC players would bring hacks into the ladder. As for now i doubt there are enough people to make a ladder, but when everyone buys a g5 because of the release of Panther which should bring people into buying more g5's i feel that more people will have the computer to run the game. Mauti if you were to put a ladder for AA on the DAMN site i will gladly set up rules and admin it for you along with my co leaders of a2 (Typhy and Ultimo). Just give me a holla here or at my email rebel@killersonspree.com and ill gladly help out. As of now i know there are 2 active mac clans for AA, -a2- and SER. We (a2) will most likely soon be purchasing a server for AA through which we will post the IP and PW on GR so that we can have mac only games. A person can host AA on a mac but it usually produces fairly bad pings, but if we buy a clan server then we will gladly let others borrow it, but a small fee (maybe around 4-5 bucks a month) per clan will be required. Sounds good give me an email. Check out www.americasapples.tk today!

Bucc, 1.9 was a very small update in comparison with 2.0. I expect 2.0's port to take far longer. Anyway, that still doesn't solve the problem that the cheat prevetion client isn't out for Mac.

My A2 teamates and I could get some rules set up, and admin the ladder if you'd like.

What do we have to lose? The worst that can happen is that it's inactive.

As said if you want it you can get it. I don't care if we start in season 6 or 7 with it. It will start out as fun ladder and who knows may the ladder will grow.

Good night,

Mauti

Rebel, just discuss with other Mac players what gametype you would like to play, time limits and basic settings(team color, kit resistrictions or whatever AA has). Then also write down additional rules if needed at all.

Ultimo generally I wouldn't have anything against to open the AA ladder for PC players as well but if it doesn't work I can't do much.

Further I'm also thinking about adding a MOH:AA ladder if still some guys play it!? I don't know. Well lets start with AA first.

Bye,

Mauti
