Oh oh....just came across this.....I wanna play!

Let's see....

1. Standard rifle was the .30-cal M1 Garand, 8 rounds per clip. But that was later in the war. Early in WWII, the standard rifle was still the WWI-era M1903 Springfield. By the way, I am an expert shot with both of those weapons.

2. Enfield Rifle Number 4.....but that was after about mid-way through the war if I recall. SMLE before that.

3. That would be one of my personal favorites, the Springfield M1903-A4. Of course the Marines used the M1903-A1 model during WWII. You are very wrong about the German snipers, though. They actually used 3 sniper rifles....the K98 and G43 which were both German produced, and ANY Soviet sniper rifle they could get their hands on was the 3rd. The German snipers loved the Russian built sniper rifles.

4. The standard machine gun used by the U.S. during WWII was the Browning .50-cal M2. But I think the weapon you are refering to is the M1918 BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle).

5. Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 (and I'll admit right now that this was the only one I had to look up, although I did have a clue that this would be the one).

7. If you are refering to the Invasion of Normandy of June 6, 1944, then those beaches were code-named Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword. You need to be a bit more specific though, as there were numerous D-Day invasions throughout Europe and the Pacific during WWII. I have visited all 5 of those Normandy-landing beaches.

8. Are you refering to the later Thompson M1A1? You might want to be a bit more specific here, as well.
