Doesnt Netfone have login and pass options? Try switch your ports to make ur line more secret. Also lock everything u can ect.... thats my best advice. Theirs always some one out trying to ruin it for others.

Come on flies, I know your smarter than this. After the first time you should have used the login and password option that netfone offers. At least use it when in clan battles and only give the pass to your clanmates. Now there is no problems and no spectulation as to why there was lag. (well, at least untill another excuse comes :O )

Another question. How do you know someone was connected to your netfone? Did you see another name in the list? If so why didnt you screen shot it?

That happened to us last season in the begining (maybe it was DEA season 3)... You can just hear people calling you while in game... and you cant restart the game because your the host and the other team might think its something fishy...

I have heard of a few people doing this before this season started, which im not going to name names....

Only thing i can say is use the login/pw system.... dont change ports if you would like to connect to others on netfone....


For all of you computer OSX geeks can you tell us if there is a way to check ips? Maybe and ip logger? list all ips connecting to the NF ports?

symantec personal firewall.

easy to use, simple to configure.  logs all ip connections and attempts.  also allows you to block individual ip's on a port by port basis.

great way to ban any annoying user with multiple gameranger ids.

lol hazard. yet you are so right. LOL if someone conntects to you on NF then u just double click on their name to show ip.. rather simple don't ya think. IF problem persists with the most annoying one then activate 'name passowrd etc' acess to nf.. ie no gues users... Its kinda simple

     Yeah, just set up logins and a clan password, then when you're going into a CB, disable "allow guest connections". Then, only people who are in your address book and have a login and password can connect to you.

Flies, it doesn't matter whether they have a static ip or not, when you set up an acct with somebody on nf, it doens't go by their ip, it goes by the outgoing login

so, for example, if their outgoing login is joe and their pass is asdf, it doesn't matter whta their ip is so long as they use joe and asdf, the account works for any ip.

Meaning, if you set up an acct with any person, you can use that one login for your whole clan, they can all use the outgoing login of joe and the pass asdf

I dont think we as BL admins should be involved in this at all. Your asking us to be baby sitters, GameRanger Police. Thats total bs. We have to deal with enough already and now you guys want us to deal with a few bad apples that connect to your netfone while in a cb. If it happened to me i wouldn't take my problem here, I would just take care of it myself as Pyroman did.

And Flies, you seem to be flaming more and more these day, why dont you take it down a notch for us ok bud.

The best thing to do is to setup a username and password for all your friends, and then one for your clanmembers (all being identical) and then turn of allowing incoming connections.  You could change the port as long as you forward that port to the certain IP address AND change it in netfone.

We just had the same prob is our cb against one. severl peeps kept nfing me and others in my clan that were in the cb. I think i know who it was.. but im not saying any names here b/c i cant be for sure.

During a recent NF attack this is the ip that my norton personal fire wall looged the most (about 15 times in a row witch is how many times i was connected to). Im not saying its the offenders ip. but one to check out. 68.70.226.230
