This post is concerning a clan battle played the 28th of september. GhRa vs SL.

Round 2 of the cb, I (the host) missed saving a replay. I immediately told them (before we started round 3.) They said it was bad and that I should save the next one and they continued the cb. I have all the other replays to prove that the cb continued. Also, round two was on my host. If they had NOT agreed to continue cb they would NOT host a continuation of the cb! The only reason is that they can't stand losing!

GhRa won the cb but SL won't confirm. They want the replay of game number 2. BUT there are a few faults here:

Their battle admin left immediately after the game. I had no chance of contacting him.
They didn't ask for the replay in the debrief. They asked before round 3.
They continued the cb.
They aborted a game half way through due to faulty settings. (We let that pass as we are good sports)

I think the BL admins should let us have the win.

This is true. SL~ just can't seem to stand the fact the did so badly compared to our last cb where we played badly. We carried on after the replay for game two was not saved. They were informed of this and chose to carry on.

Acri is also correct about their request for the replay. They did not ask for it until AFTER we had left the debrief screen.

This could be all innocent or it could be a clan who purposfully did this in case they lost to have a chance of recalling the game.

One things for sure. We followed the *DAMN rules and woon fair and square. This issue needs to be resolved and soon.

It doesnt seem like it happened here... but in my many cbs of last season i tried saving all matches in a cb for replays... sometimes not all were saved... luckily there was no wierdness in the ones that didnt save.

If the replay was that important they could have said so. They had options:

They could ask to replay that round. We WOULD have accepted that since round 2 was only a draw.
They could have said: SILLY GHRA! WE WAN'T YOU TO FORFEIT!

They chose to finish the cb and when they lost, they realized they had a chance to recall it. i might be overreacting, but I call that cheating. They might actually have continued the cb and had the replay as a safeguard so they had nothing to lose.

I think everyone should play fair and those who don't shouldn't be allowed to play :/

If this is true: you don't have to save the replay by default only if the other clan asked for it and you only have the possibility to ask for the replay at the debrief screen because afterwards you can't save it anymore.

now this replay stuff is getting to be a pain in he ass. i think as a golden rule, any host should just save replays automaticly. just do it and save yourself the headache. + replays are cool to watch and share with your kids and familyduring holidays  :-)
Replays are to check for cheats/glitches/mods/fun, not a way to win if u loose! plz ppl, dont let - not saving replays - be a way to win if u loose. its not honorable.

this post is speaking generally of someting that will just become a bigger pain in the ass, if we dont kill it now.

take a loss as an experience and a win like gentlemen.
