Well, I suppose that if this mod stops some of the cheating that is better then none.  It is true that most of the important cheaters use Client side mods to play but at leastt this will alleviate the pressure of doing Serversdie tests with the lag tests.  Also, I am glad that Lothario has put the time in to actually add a Client side anti-cheat to the mod.  That takes even more time off of testing for cheats and more time on focusing in the game.  Hopefully you guys are right anc Scott Kevill takes the time to put out a great client - server side anti-cheat.
As for Jeb's, and Fusions's comment about people bitching about cheating.  I agree as well, the noobs of the game always talk shit like they should be better then us when it comes to playing a game of Ghost Recon.  it blows me away that they think just because they can play a single player game that they can take out some of the best on Gameranger.  The noobs just need to face it that there is always someone better and that they need to stop making other players feel like shit for playing a good game.  they just need to remember, they dont need to lie to kick it Grin

Just wondering, has ANY mac user fell victim to a hack or cheat in ghost recon?

This morph mod sounds good, but it  has no real technical advances, such as more successful anti cheat measures (e.g. punkbuster).

Because Ghost Recon was programmed by Red Storm's crack team of syphilitic monkey programmers, it's not a moddable engine. So actual "effective" countermeasures like Punkbuster can't work. So the best we can do until Evill's anti-cheat plugin comes out is to prevent what we can via something like the MORPF mod.

Here's the final analysis: the MORPF mod won't do shit against cheating. Period. So, it's totally and completely useless. Evill's anti-cheat measures will be our last hope.

Yeah, serverside prevention isnt gonna help at all with the cheating that is done in Ghost Recon.  But nice attempt.  =)

I installed this anti-cheat mod when this thread was started, but are any hosts running it or am I the only one thinking this is being adopted? Grin

the reason why no one runs the stupid thing is because it is serverside only.  You would know that if you actually read the posts previous in this section instead of leaving stupid posts Sturm.  And since serverside is not the problem for cheaters mainly it provides no use for us at this time.  think about it Sturm
