RS ladder dropped..season 5 salvation..I love RS

Today I log onto the *Damn and witness Mautis Post.  Due to the inactivity, blah blah, RS ladder season 4 is being dropped with new features promised in season 5.  This I feel was the correct course of action. Its no secret the level of RS activity has declined since the release of the GhR, with clans disbanning or just becoming inactive.  Whos to blame?  I read posts about RS players have to "back up their shit" and "them not even playing the game they "love" ", things along those lines. Relax its a game! OR  Maybe we should blame MAC for OSX, since RS can only run in classic

Im hoping for an RS reserection (excuse my spelling).  I wish season 5 to be a salvation!

Since I dont know much about GhR players (i thought the demo was crap and never bought the game), after spending more than a year talking to to RS players. A lot of us dont have the time to cb  and all that good shit.  FrEaK, we didnt have the time, i believe that was our downfall.  We(GR folk) have jobs, school, sports, college.  We dont have all day to organize clans and practice and cb.  During the fall i just logged on to talk to my friends and maybe piss around or to in a game.  
And it is stressfull..the actualy cb's, admit it!  I take the game as a joke, even though i get upset at myself when i play sometimes, but mostly i just liek to have a good time and i was  feeling some unnessicary stress during some cb's.

Im thinking about getting [bks] or anotheer clan in the ladder and try to bring it back to the way it was a few seasons ago when we had maybe 15 active clans(give or take).

I guess I just dont wanna see RS die, lol, sounds sad but its a great game  and we all loved it at one point.  Im still playing games at 2 am...and i love it!

Im just stating  my opinion, though it probably doesnt make sense...whoa i sound like snipe...i wont spam anymore!

well i played the RS demo, and then recieved the full version...RS is nice but Ghr is just so much better until RvS is out of course

Anyways, Jackal, we tried to keep RS alive this season. Our clan had 17 cb's, thats triple the amount any other clan had.
Granted, our record was poor, but at least we tried to keep the spirit alive. RS is just fading to black, it's inevitable, I know myself
that I don't think I can stand to play storage depot anymore, and the pdw...bah. It had it's fun, time to move on...all good things must end.

I did an used to play RS alot... on the PC when it first came out...
I LOVED IT! then...

Now it's just outdated software... Just like Oregon Trail and Carmen Sandiego...

Y'know, I decided the other night to give GhR another go (when it intially came out I was on it, for a little while)...and I must say......
I still think GhR is BUTT ASS BORING.   I watch people just sit and wait to pick off people as they run past they're "area".  That is so lame.  Then the usual suspects will claim "strategy etc. blah blah"....bah......
Sure the graphics are great (thanks to OSX), but the gameplay sucks ass.  
They're were many factors into this season being a washout.  It's too bad there are like 500 clans for GhR and 5 active ones for RS.  
I will say that it is fitting that ACE would be the season winners or co winners....for obvious reasons.
I just like playing the games with the friends I have on GR.  The docs have always been more about that and less on the other crap that seems to fly around the Battle League.
I may play GhR again, i may not.  I'll still be there for RS that's for sure.
Anyways, that's my 2.5 cents...

Its a great game, if you dont like it then dont. I mean...how is it any different than RS, its basically the same thing.

And besides, in my experience the ppl who cant stand GhR simply dont have a comp good enough to run it

errr, what? Did you ever play RS? You wouldnt say that if you did. Basically GhR is BS camping all the time. If you have a camper in RS, u can easily kill him. Mb he has sensors, but you can jam them and rape his ass. And what is it in GhR? There are sensors but no freaking jammers.

I also gave GhR another chance last night. Omg i played one game with 2 individual respawns. I got camped 3 times (!)it sucks...no assault, just stupid waiting and shooting. no skills needed!

I can't speak for other GhR players/clans but I NEVER CAMP and I AM ALWAYS ASSAULTING and barely stop RUNNING to POP A SKULL then RUN again INTO THE ENEMIES TO POP THE NEXT SUKA.  My biggest weakness is that I REFUSE TO STAY IN SAME LOCATION because I AM AN ASSAULTER.  BTs does not condone CAMPING and CAMPERS are booted form BTs servers.  Anyone who is any good at GhR has serious disdain for campers and camping.  So please don't judge GhR by the lame behavior of a few noob campers, they are the dead weight and are easily killed,

PS- you can shoot enemy sensors to destroy them and you can kill enemies even if they see you on map--get over it--Storm them and Assault them--if you RS'ers are so good at assaulting you should have no problems with campers except disgust.

I see your point, hate the player not the game, but c'mon, how many people do I have to hate.  Therer seem to be whole clans of people I could hate if I follow that rule.
Like I said, I will probably give GhR another chance, either that or become a GhR Terrorist!
