im in a band which is called SBR (Store bought rebels) which might sound familiar to some of you old mofo's out there, anywho, this thread is pretty much a sign up if anyone is interested in the 3 songs that are gonna come off the demo, they will be in MP3 form and CD quality.  The type of music is Punk+Grunge AKA Grunk, with some hardcore influences.  I can get the MP3s out to you by the end of the week, so if you are interested reply

Not necessarily my genre, but worth a listen...especially after listening to Bander's German rap-esque music (quite good since I don't have to know what it is talking about...although I'm fairly sure one is about smoking weed).

I plan on listening later (haven't listened yet) but the fact that you named a band after SBR is great. Does NiXon know? And who thought of the name originally?

Yea Nixon knows, he is in a band himself, SBR started when i was in 8th grade with a 2 man band, never lasted very long but the name stuck around and became a clan name for R6(R.I.P.).  Then my guitarist for the original SBR moved away and i took the name to the clan and then to my newest band which was originally called "1 And A Quarter" but then we changed it to SBR which is a more hardcore name.  So thats the story, we just finished the 3 song demo today, 14 hours of played and mixing i definitly have a new respect for ANY artists who complete an album.

I'd love to hear it Cow, I'm more for the classic rock myself, but anybody on GameRanger with a band is worth it to listen and laugh at. Kind of like Letum's band.

Cow, industry tip: Mail yourself a letter/package containing lyrics to the songs and the CD itself, and maybe a piece of paper with the date written on it. Now, don't open it. Someone steals your work, bring them to court, hand the judge the envelope. You got yourself copyrighted material right there, dated by the U.S. Post Office. =D It's your proof that you did it first.
