Allright guys listen up. Im lookin for some answers to some problems ive been having. Just put together my old pwoer mac g3 and installed os9. When i pop a cd in IT DOESNT SHOW UP ON THE DESKTOP. i know the cd drive isnt busted because when i load the comp up from the os9 cd it reads the cd! What should i do!!!!

     Try zapping the PRAM. Command-Option-P-R on startup, hold through three or four restarts, or until the screen flashes an odd color on startup. It fixes all sorts of weird and fucked-up behavior.

     Hey, am I the only one who always gets that nostalgic feeling like I'm dusting off my Commodore 64 trivia when I'm doing tech support for pre-OS-X OSes?

     Oh, and LOAD "*",8,1 forever, yo.
